2 bedrooms both with en-suites, sleeps 4, in heart of popular Devon village

Our luxury modern holiday home is situated in a quiet close in the heart of Woodbury. No expense has been spared in creating this lovely reverse level home which has that holiday feel as soon as you enter the sunny, bright accommodation. Number 10 offers modern, comfortable open plan accommodation with en-suites and TV's to both bedrooms. Quality and style permeate throughout the holiday home with luxury furnishings, FREE WI-FI,Flat screen T.V's,DVD Player, I Pod Dock, etc The living room is a lovely light and bright area, incorporating the kitchen and dining area at one end, all enhanced by double french doors opening to a Juliet balcony to give that extra fresh air and views over the village. The decked courtyard can be approached off the double bedroom or from the driveway, great for an alfresco breakfast or BBQ in the evening.

Just take a short walk in the morning to get the papers, bacon and eggs and see what's going on in the village, or an evening stroll to a local pub or to fetch the fish and chips!

Golf: Number10 is situated near several excellent golf courses. Below is a selection of nearby clubs:

A beautiful modern, clean, comfortable house. The decor in each room was outstanding. Garden and patio beautiful to sit outside. Everything you need is there. Lots of extra too. Beds so comfortable and fantastic power shower. Great customer service. Would definitely recommend this house in a perfectly quiet area. Good takeaway within walking distance.

Fantastic week

Lovely location beautifull property clean and well equipped had a fantastic week, lovely pub down the road great food and very friendly 100% recommend this property and my boys loved it too( aged 16yr and 8yrs) thank you helen

Absolutely wonderful

We had a wonderful time at Woodbury village house and received exceptional customer service. The property was beautifully decorated and very clean and established in the middle of the village - location great for daily walk-abouts in the village. Close to Exmouth, Plymouth and Exeter and easy access routes. We'll definitely recommend this property to any other interested parties.

Lovely contemporary home in East Devon

Number 10 was exactly as advertised, the owners have gone to a lot of effort to make this property a delight to stay in. The house is very well equipped and everything is in perfect working order. The linen and towels were very good quality and absolutely spotless.

On arrival we found the bottle of wine and the biscuits really thoughtful. The patio area was ideal for eating breakfast and having an afternoon coffee / glass of wine.

We would definitely want to stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

The Diggers Rest public house in Woodbury Salterton is a friendly pub that serves excellent food and well worth a visit.

If you want a clean, comfortable home from home this is the place to stay.

Everything we could have hoped for and more

A beautifully appointed home. Spotlessly clean and the owners have a real attention to detail. Would definitely recommend 'Number 10' to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat from which to be able to explore the beautiful county of Devon, or as in our case - a very comfortable base for working at an exhibition in the Westpoint Centre in Exeter - an easy 10 minute drive away.

We will be booking again for next year as soon as we have confirmed dates for the exhibition in 2013.

No:10 Woodbury Holiday Home

We have just enjoyed a weeks stay in a most stylish and well equipped holiday home - super comfy beds, crisp linen, powerful showers and luxurious towels and absolutely spotless - a real 'home from home'.

The information pack left by Helen & Tony was very useful and contained maps of the village and wider area and lots of ideas on where to visit and places to eat.

We had a lovely meal at River Cottage Canteen & Deli in Axminster and on our last day we enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Frogwell Vineyard & Ciderbarn (just off the A3052) and wished we had discovered it earlier.

Woodbury is perfectly situated to explore east Devon & Dorset and No:10 is the perfect place to relax in after a busy day exploring.

Our holiday home is right in the heart of Woodbury, a popular picturesque East Devon village. Woodbury Common surrounds the village, being an area of outstanding natural beauty, with its many miles of paths, ideal for walkers and cyclists to enjoy.Woodbury has two local pubs, both offering good local beers and food, together with a restaurant and Chinese/fish and chip shop. There is an excellent PO/general stores and a few antique shops. Only 9 Miles from Exeter, with its Cathedral and quay, both worthy of a visit. 5 Miles from the Jurassic coast at Exmouth, with its long sandy beach and a haven for water sports. Budleigh Salterton (6m) for its pebbly beach and wonderful walk up the river to Otterton. Sidmouth (9m), with its individual shops and famous Donkey Sanctury. Topsham (4 m) for river walks, characterful shops and restaurants. Lots of golf courses nearby (Woodbury Park 3m). Crealy Adventure Park and Bicton Gardens for the Children. Westpoint for exhibitions and concerts only 4m

Number 10 has driveway parking for one car, should you have an additional car there is a free village car park 2 minutes walk away. We have two adults mountain bikes(available April-Oct) which you are more than welcome to use. Lots of lovely routes around the village and not far is a new cycling track along the Exe estuary into Exmouth. Also we have a supply of local treasure trails which are a great way to get to know a nearby town or area and great fun for adults or children. FREE WI- Fi
