Great For Family
We had a great time staying at the River Cabin with our family of four on summer vacation. It is a lovely location and we enjoyed being able to watch the river and the animals, and fish off the dock. The house is quite comfortable with all that you need for cooking and relaxing. The kids loved having their own rooms. The area is quite nice, close to amenities and so much interesting stuff to do. Could definitely see ourselves coming back for more!
River Cabin is a delight
We thoroughly enjoy staying here and have returned many times. Perfect for relaxing on the front porch with coffee in hand, and it’s nice to cook here rather than needing to go out to dinner. Tony is wonderful to work with and always very accommodating 😊
We enjoyed our time by the river. It was fun to watch the waterfowl.
Wonderful place to stay.
This property is well taken care of and it's location is absolutely fabulous. We are return vacationers and plan to come back again. The cabin is comfortable and very well stocked - couldn't ask for anything more.
FUN & FISH!
It was beautiful and relaxing. We had so much fun! We had a terrific vacation. We took our boat and were able to dock it right at the house. We caught some amazing fish! Tony and Jane were so kind and amenable. They took care of everything we needed. We will definitely stay there again!

Hagerman Valley was formed 40,000 to 50,000 years ago by two separate geological events.
1.The Bonneville Flood was a torrent of biblical proportion that cut through Utah, Idaho and Washington. Hagerman Valley was scoured by BILLIONS of gallons of water, hundreds of feet deep.
2. At the same time, The Great Rift Lava Flow released mile after mile of flowing lava that blanketed what is now South-Central Idaho. When the flowing lava encountered the high water of the Bonneville Flood, the vertical lava walls of Hagerman Valley were formed.
The lava flow also created the Snake River Basin Aquifer and the pure water originating from as far as Yellow Stone Park and the Teton Mountains of Wyoming, pours out of Hagerman Valley's lava walls into the Snake River. This is called Thousand Springs and these magnificant springs can be found up and down Hagerman Valley for 30 miles.
