Very classic cottage with new hardwood floors throughout. The most classic and tastefully refined accommodation you're sure to find in town. Retains all the old-world charm of years past with modern amenities and creature comforts. However, the joy of this property is not found in its adaptability to modern living. The experience will be like no-other because of this property's exclusivity. Staying more central to the heartbeat of Fairhope is simply not possible, nothing compares!
We are a local family from right here in Fairhope and have made hospitality our lifelong endeavor. This is the first property of this format we've owned but have 30 years of experience with accommodating vacationers whether on the Bayous of Louisiana, the slopes of Colorado, or the suburban scene.
We do our utmost to support ourselves by making others feel welcome. If there's ever something we can do to make your stay more enjoyable or comfortable we'll happily do so. We look forward to your staying at the property we've poured our souls and tireless efforts into making cozy and clean for you.
Patty Edhegard purchased this cottage in 2012
This property interested us in the Summer of 2012 because we'd recently left the world of small business and had always been curious about the world of vacation rental. Vacation rentals of this nature attract different demographic than we've ever before serviced at the various motels we've run in years past.
Simply, we needed something that's less of a full-time job than we'd had managing multi-unit facilities. It is now a privilege to own a property of which we are so proud because, we believe, it's the best thing available for rent in the whole darn town.
Location handy to Robert Trent Golf Trail and Beaches! Nestled in the Quaint
town of Fairhope in close proximity to walking, biking, sailing, boating, coffee
shops, antique shops, outdoor cafes, and a little over an hour from Biloxi
Great location. Front porch was a perfect hangout for socializing. Kitchen was fine. Nice size refrigerator. A block or so to stores and downtown. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. Would definitely try to stay here again!
It's a cute rustic house with plenty of amenities.
Conveniently located and the house was very comfortable. Patty made sure that everything was easy for us. Highly recommend if you are wanting to be close to downtown Fairhope.
Very convenient to downtown shops and bay front. Comfortable and clean.
Had a most enjoyable stay. The cottage is so convenient to everything. Will miss taking a morning stroll down to the pier. I love Fairhope!
This cottage is absolutely charming!! It is very quaint and comfortable. The décor is very relaxing and beautiful. The beds were so comfortable it was hard to get out of them in the morning. The location is superb!! We used this cottage for a Mother/Daughter getaway, and the location was perfect. It is within walking distance to wherever you need to go, you would not need a vehicle as you can walk to shopping, entertainment, and some of the best restaurants in AL. We will definitely make this cottage part of our annual Mother/Daughter-Girl's weekend! Patty is a sweetheart and was very welcoming and sweet which is an added bonus. You will not regret this gem!

When seeking a destination, one would be extremely hard-pressed to find a town offering a better mix of , rich historical culture, and southern charm and hospitality than what the beautiful city of Fairhope offers. What makes Fairhope so unique is its juxtaposition between the rich culture centers of New Orleans and Mobile, and the sugar sand beaches of Gulf Shores and Pensacola. Most would say, however, that it isn't the beach scene that makes Fairhope's attraction so compelling. It stems more from its rich culture that really cannot be found anywhere else. Though many have compared Fairhope to New Orleans, Fairhope, extraordinarily has developed its own very own distinct culture -- an amazing social circumstance from a town that has just in the last two decades reached a population greater than 10,000 permanent residents.
This small cottage is a perfect property to exemplify Fairhope charm.
