Modern fusion in a historic building. A brand new kitchen with dishwasher and easy access with digital door locks (no keys!). The apartment is laid out with a nice space for reading, a desk for getting some work done, and a brand new queen mattress where you can get a good nights sleep and wake up to the birds chirping in the surrounding large growth trees nearby!

The original apartment was built in 1910 so you will find a ton of those details in the apartment but only in restored condition. I kept the original doors and flooring among other details :) It's a one bedroom but I took the door off since it was just me to open the space up a bit. A new modern kitchen and bath with style will let you settle right in. There is free shared laundry right down stairs in the basement where you'll find two washers and two dryers and laundry detergent for you to use - **please note it is a shared laundry and not in the unit itself**

The place is perfect for an individual or couple coming to enjoy Midtown Memphis and will have all the essentials for you!

This apartment is on the second floor which you can access from the front or rear entry-ways.

There is also a shared patio on the second floor that you are welcome to use and relax :)

You will have full access in the apartment; there are no locked doors or cabinets.

You'll receive a digital code a three days before your arrival for the front door which means that 24 hour check-in is no problem at all! Any questions and we can be reached 24 hours a day by sending us a quick message.

I will send you a text with a link to my guidebook I'm working on before your arrival but you will also have additional information inside the apartment with contacts, transportation and other general info

Walk out the front door and 100 yards down the street brings you to a bustling corner with a jazz restaurant, Moroccan and Mexican restaurants and, of course, a delicious BBQ joint. Keep walking or take a short uber another .75 miles to Overton square, one of Memphis' most happening areas with a host of other restaurants and bars.

Head downtown the other direction in a short uber ($6) and you'll find yourself engulfed in Memphis' blues scene on the famous Beale street.

In addition to the many great eateries (which you'll find in the guidebook i'll send you) there are several parks nearby and places to relax.

Uber or Lyft are readily available and definitely the best option.

There is a trolley that runs down Madison and will bring you to downtown if you want a little more of a historic experience heading downtown.

The whole building has a total of 8 apartments and this apartment is on the second floor which you can access from the front or rear entry ways. There is free shared laundry right down stairs in the basement where you'll find two washers and two dryers and laundry detergent for you to use - **please note it is a shared laundry and not in the unit itself**

➤ Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival

➤ If you are a local resident, you must contact us before booking

➤ Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.

➤ No parties or events allowed

➤ No Pets allowed.

➤ Guest must provide us with a valid ID that matches their credit card information

➤ Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible

➤ NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no "smoking" includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and "use of fire" includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed

➤ There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund

➤ Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We're sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them

➤ We will place a small deposit hold on your credit card the day before your arrival to cover any accidental property damage that may occur and it will be released after your check out. If we fail to capture your security deposit, your reservation will automatically be cancelled

➤ We would like to inform you that a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform's cancellation policy


➤ Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in)

➤ As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property

➤ Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos

➤ For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera

➤ Remember to take all your belongings when checking out. Left something? There's a $50 Mailing Fee (not including postage). We aim to return items within 7-10 business days, but please bear with us during busy times. Thanks for understanding!


➤ If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs

➤ If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation. Thank you for understanding

Quaint & Secure but Terrible Bed
The description and communication with the property manager was spot on before, during and after. They provided us a list of activities and favorite restaurants which was helpful since we were not familiar with the area. However, the bathroom was extremely small - very tight space. There wasn’t any toilet paper and though they said they would fix it-not in any time enough so we bought our own roll. The bed was absolutely terrible - we even thought about leaving early because of it. The fan, air conditioning/heating unit were very dusty causing us sinus issues. The best part was the decor, the kitchen and the security of the premises and the apartment. It’s a toss up for us to stay again.

Not as clean as I expected
The check in process was simple enough, though I spent 15 minutes looking for the building. When I entered my apartment, I immediately recognized that the pictures on the listing had been photoshopped. The apartment looked nice enough, however there were stains here and there and dust everywhere. The bedding had removable dirt on it as though it had not been washed. The information card which contained house rules was filthy, with food residue or debris stuck on it. It was dusty everywhere and underneath the bed was dirty. Thankfully, the bathroom was clean. Once I complained about the dirty sheets, staff members immediately arrived to my room to change them. The communication and customer service was on point. I appreciated the Brita water pitcher. There were plenty of seasonings to use for cooking. Unfortunately, I had to leave a day early for my stay because the entire grid in the area, the electricity went out. Although this was no fault of the owner's, it would have been nice for them to contact me and let me know what happened as I did not know that the electricity was out until I returned back to the apartment.

Great accommodations, great location.
We were in town for a long weekend and this place was just perfect for our needs. Very clean, comfortable in a very cool historic district of Memphis. Highly recommended.

The Worst Place We’ve Ever Stayed
Professional photography made studio look far better than it was. Dust was everywhere. Chairs uncomfortable. TV unusable. Neighborhood terrible. Refrigerator only had tiny ice cube maker. ETC., EC. Will never use this service again.
