Why KATE HOLDEN chose Herbrandston

Its location is epic, a fabulous retreat for us and our dogs in the beginning and then the kids. It's very peaceful, and you can't help relaxing when you get there!

What makes this house unique

Sitting on the sun-trap deck overlooking the beach, sipping a cool drink and watching the tide come in and out - heaven. Even in winter, you can sit in the warmth of the living room and gaze through the huge windows at the sunlight sparkling on the water .

Fabulous!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely amazing location and a fabulous , well equipped, clean house at the side of the creek. Water, though tidal, is crystal clear, and when the tide is out, a great expanse of sand is revealed, along with a small bridge which is perfect for crabbing! The spacious house and area are family and dog friendly. A second shower would be really helpful with 6 adults staying, but you can work around it! A couple of boats at the end of the garden added to the fun, along with a lovely garden complete with rabbits and cows behind the fence a few times a day made it a really special half term break. We would return in a heartbeat.

Enchanting...

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful location, stunning outlook, Ferry Cottage was a great place to spend quality, family time over the Christmas/New Year......

Just 3 miles from Milford Haven, situated right on the beach/creek, it was a lovely, spacious holiday home for the 9 of us plus Harold the Pug. The ever changing view of the creek through the large picture window was better than the TV, the kitchen was one of the best and well equipped we'd stayed in, leading on to the open plan lounge area with its 3 new sofas centred around a cozy log burner. The welcome pack of bread, tea, jam and Welsh Cakes was a great touch as was the Christmas tree, thank you... Bedrooms were spacious, bathrooms modern and the large utility room leading out to the garden was ideal for coming back after a long walk, kicking off the boots and drying the dog down..! The boats at the end of the garden came in handy and we had a lot of fun in them.Spent the thick end of a week there but could have easily stayed longer....

Herbrandston is a lovely part of Pembrokeshire, Ferry Cottage was a great base to explore or relax with a beach on the doorstep, pub up the lane and a beautiful view.....

recommend...
