A modern and comfortably furnished duplex apartment overlooking the 4th fairway of the superb Valle del Este Golf Club, near Vera in Almeria, which has played host to a number of prestigious amateur tournaments. The apartment is situated on the Los Almendros development replete with a lovely communal swimming pool.
In addition to two bedrooms (sleeps 4), the apartment benefits from both a balcony and a fantastic sun terrace that captures the sun until dusk. The first floor of the duplex comprises a comprehensively appointed kitchen with adjoining laundry room and also benefits from a spacious open lounge and dining room which opens onto a spacious balcony that overlooks the 4th fairway. There is also a toilet on this level.
The second floor comprises two spacious bedrooms, both with built-in wardrobes, and a family bathroom. This upper level also has one of the key features of the property, a large terrace that captures the sun from mid-morning until dusk.
How to get there: Valle del Este is well served by a number of airports. With the apartment and all the airports being adjacent to the main motorways, getting there couldn't be easier !
The nearest airports are:-
Almeria - 75km, driving time 35 minutes,
Murcia (San Javier) - 135km, driving time 1hour 15 minutes,
Alicante - 200km, driving time 1 hour 45 minutes.
Fully equipped apartment: The apartment contains everything you could wish for and will feel like your home from home. Key facilities include:-
Outdoors - The main terrace comes equipped with four luxury sun loungers plus dining table and seating for six while the lounge terrace has two luxurious sofas which are perfect for relaxing on and enjoying a well earned drink.
Lounge - The lounge contains an LCD TV, DVD player complete with selection of movies, Music Centre (Radio, CD and MP3 connector). The TV features a selection of European language channel with many UK channels including BBC1, BBC2, ITV1 and C4.
Kitchen - The kitchen is comprehensively equipped including: Fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, toaster, coffee machine plus a comprehensive selection of cookware, utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Bedrooms - Luxuriously furnished, fresh linen and towels are provided every week.
Beaches: The area is well known for the quality of its beaches - less than 15 minutes drive and you will find yourself dipping your toes in the warm and clean waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The beaches of Garrucha, Mojacar Playa, Vera Playa and Puerto del Rey stretch for mile upon mile and are well served by a plethora of restaurants, bars and cafes. For your convenience and comfort, the apartment is equipped with lightweight, portable deckchairs, sun loungers as well as beach towels - all you need to bring is your bating suit and plenty of sun cream !
Fantastic location, over looking the 4th fairway, Vera beach , Garroucha, Mojacar, a short drive away.
Accommodation good standard with plenty of room, especially if the weather is fine, with a very large roof terrace and a side terrace.
Everything was there for you needs including beach towels, which were not used as the pool was too cold.
Very comfortable including the beds it was a homely apartment, only thing missing was wi fi.
We will defiantly stay there again. Thanks Phil for making us feel welcome.

The apartment was well equipped but some things were showing their age giving the impression that the photographs on the web site were taken a while ago.
Damp was visible on the kitchen ceiling and stairs wall.
We were told that we were the first occupants this year and were disappointed to see crumbs on the toaster and a dirty microwave.
Also, general cleaning was to a poor standard with dust and fluff in bedside cupboards and under the beds.
We felt that the property needed a spring clean and redecorating.
We found the location good with nearby restaurants but the mini market is now closed.
Unfortunately, we won't be returning to this property but liked the area.
We were very impressed with the apartment, it had everything we needed for our holiday with excellent views of the golf course.
Ian's communication was first class and kept us informed regarding the booking and other aspects of the stay.
The hotel on the site is a great addition and we used the pool daily they served very good value lunches and the drinks were very reasonably priced, there are also other bars/restaurants on the complex including an English bar, Cocktail bar & Spanish Tapas bar.
We also used the Spa facilities at the hotel which we found to be very good.
Location is good for exploring the surrounding area, Mojacar, Garrucha, Vera, Villarocos & Desert Springs are all within easy reach making this a great base for our holiday.
We can not comment on the golf course as we don't play but it looked in excellent condition to the untrained eye!
We would not hesitate to go back again and hope to do so in the near future.
We stayed in Ian's duplex apartment for three weeks.We really enjoyed our stay.The accommodation is laid out on two floors with a kitchen,toilet,lounge and balcony on the lower floor with two bedrooms,bathroom and a larger terrace on the second floor.The keyholders were very pleasant and helpful and also cleaned the apartment each week which included changing bed linen and towels. Beach towels are provided and also there are beach chairs available for use.The kitchen is very well furnished with all necessary equipment. Valle del Este is a lovely complex and the surrounding area is full of wonderful villages and areas to visit. A car is necessary. Valle del Este has a commercial area which has two restaurants and a sports bar.The hotel pool is available for use by residents and they provide a buffet each night which has a discounted price for residents.The complex is very well looked after and having stayed in numerous resorts in Spain ,Valle del Este is without doubt our favourite.
We were very impressed with the apartment, it was very clean with all mod cons as well a real homely feel, and very importantly an exceptionally comfortable bed.
Also, it was very nice to have a welcome pack waiting for us on arrival.
During our stay we unfortunately left the apartment without the key (despite being reminded not to!) but the local representative that looks after the apartment couldn't of been more helpful, making sure that he got a key to us without any fuss.
Although it is very unusual in this region, the English weather followed us and we
had a few days of rain. This really didn't bother us too much as we found plenty to do out and about and when we were 'rained in' the apartment had everything we could wish for.
The Hotel on the site serves a good selection of lunches and very reasonably priced wine and also does a very good 'all you can eat' buffet in the evenings. Again this was very reasonable and if you mention that you are staying on the complex you get a discount.
Along with the Hotel there is a really good Spanish Restaurant, an English Pub that serves food and a Cocktail Bar, so there is plenty to do without having to get in the car.
We would definitely go back and have recommended it to some friends already.
A really great property which is well equipped with all that is needed whilst away. We have returned a number of times now and think it's on one of the best spots in val deste. On a practical note the apartment is always very clean and it is also very comfortable (beds etc). Near everything you need - pool, golf and walking distance to carlos' bar (great) and a good tapas restaurant. Especially like the option of two balconies - both gave great views to sit back with a glass of red and watch the golfers (that's when we weren't playing!!). Thanks for a great stay and for making booking very easy/efficient etc
Valle del Este lies in the heart of Europe's sunniest region with an average of 350 days of sunshine per year. Blessed with year round sunny weather, Valle del Este is ideal for golfers and holidaymakers alike. In addition to the championship course at Valle del Este itself, the area is gaining a fast growing reputation for the excellence of courses on offer with the likes of Desert Springs, Macenas, Marina del la Torre all close by.
The nearby beaches have an enviable reputation and the landmark hilltop village of Mojacar is an absolute must see. The nearby traditional market town of Vera and the fishing port of Garrucha are also well worth a visit.
Further afield lies the Cabo de Gato National Park with its beautiful scenery and western adventure centres. The location for many of Sergio Leone's famous westerns including 'The Good, the bad and the Ugly, the park has many attractions and is ideal for a family day out
Golf: The ideal location if you are a golf lover. Valle del Este has a well earned reputation for its beautiful natural setting in which to enjoy your favourite sport on a carefully-maintained golf course with a unique design and natural resources which cannot fail to please.
Wide fairways, elevated tees, receptive greens with a wide range of flag positions, as well as strategically-positioned water hazards and bunkers to make each hole an authentic challenge. The course was designed by the renowned Jose Canales and opened in 2002. It measures 5,715 metres (6,250 yards) off the championship tees but, with 5 tees per hole and ample greens, it represents a fair challenge and a lovely setting regardless your standard of play.
There is also a number of other lovely courses in the area if you can bear to drag yourself away from Valle del Este. Other notable courses include the Peter Allis designed Desert Springs, the recently constructed Macenas and Marina del la Torre.

In the event of a cancellation at any time and for whatever reason, your initial deposit of 25% is NON-REFUNDABLE. Other than the forfeiture of your initial deposit, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before arrival will not incur any further charges. However, cancellations made less than thirty (30) days prior to the date of arrival will forfeit the full reservation fee. In all cases, any security deposit already paid will be refunded in full. Early departure will not warrant any refund of rent.
Weekly rates include an Electricity allowance of €20. Meter readings will be taken on arrival and departure with any excess deducted from the security deposit.
