Today, it has been converted into 12 luxury apartments, with a unique location; in a quiet residential area, yet minutes from all that Cannes has to offer. Renovated & can accommodation up to 6 people in comfort and style - with 3 bed, 2 bath, living, dining, separate kitchen & tranquil private garden. Excellent Time

Our company renter Palais Excelsior for the duration of MAPIC. It was a perfect choice, a very nicely decorated and furnished apartment. Unfortunately we did not have as much time to enjoy the apartment itself on our trip, but it was absolutely beautiful. The services provided by the Property Manager were also excellent and she was more than helpful.

It was a wonderful stay and I would definitely consider renting the apartment again, not only for a business trip but also for any future leisure trip to Cannes.

Fantastic location & beautiful apartment

Our stay at the apartment was the perfect end to our honeymoon. We would honestly have to say it was nicer & cleaner than the 4 & 5 star hotels we stayed in during our honeymoon.

The apartment is in one of the best & most secure apartment blocks in Cannes (as we discovered it used to be a palace!). It's beautifully furnished & we had the best nights sleep there, with the shutters down the rooms were pitch black & the beds so comfortable. 3 bedrooms, two nice bathrooms. The courtyard was very pretty & we enjoyed our breakfast there each morning.

We could not have got a more perfectly located apartment, it was only a short 5 minute stroll to the market where we got our fruit each day, shops, beaches & main centre of Cannes. The street was quiet so we could easily park our hire car there when we explored further a field.

What we loved most was the fantastic information book in the house (explaining the history of the apartment, where to find English speaking doctors, hospital, local buses/trains/boats, the best local produce) it was more comprehensive than the 5 star hotels we stayed in & very informative. The owners also provided maps showing the location of the tourist office, supermarkets, markets, train, boat & landmarks in Cannes.

From the moment we first made contact they were amazing giving us further info, even arranging our transport to pick us up from Nice airport. We were welcomed with fresh flowers & essentials like milk.

It was nice to finally be able to do our washing & have a home a cooked meal one night from the local produce at the market (the kitchen was as well equipped as ours at home). The apartment really had everything we could need - free WIFI, safe, beach umbrellas, games, a big bath to soak in after an exhausting day out exploring!

We also discovered that the island where the Man in the Iron Mask had been imprisoned was only a 15min boat ride away! We didn’t realise this was there! We also followed a tip from the owners book & enjoyed a number of meals on the amazing ‘Suquet’ street, a pedestrian street full of amazing restaurants & well worth a visit. For only E15-25 you can enjoy a 3 course meal. All the waiters will come out asking you in & give a free glass of champagne, if you ask!

There was so much more to do in Cannes than we expected & the apart is brilliantly located, central to everything & perfectly appointed for us to enjoy & explore the area. Would highly recommend it.

A most perfect place if you want to stay in a nice and tidy apartment in a quiet area of Cannes. Beatyfully decorated and very well-equipped. Perfect customer service with friendly accuracy from the contact/Key Lady. We would definately recommend this apartment to friends and relatives and also hope to be able to visit again.

our best vacation in France

We like the apartment very much. The description on the website is absolutely accurate regarding the facilities. It's very clean and beautiful with very nice scent of antique furtinute - very cosy and atmospheric. Beds have very good mattress and linen so we had a good sleep. The location is also very good, the amazing fermers market is just 5 min walking and all the shops you may need are also very close at hand. With regards to the restaurants we have not been visiting them much as we travel with our 8month baby but the one we remember for long - L'Ondine on the beach, our favourite place for lunch. Gastronomic menu just few metres from the sea!

A very big thank to the owners and especially Valerie who provides very good service incl. the cheapest transfer from the airport and some welcome drinks and fruits. It was our best vacation in France and we'll definately be back!
