About Don Durner
Our children grew up summering with their cousins at our house on the cape, and have great memories of long days at the beach, the 'Barn', go carts and trampolines, and drive-in movie adventures. Now they bring their own children to create their own family stories. The house is laid out so that each group has its own 'retreat' space yet plenty of great community space. Sometimes, we even go without the kids and enjoy a whole different Cape experience. We want your experience to be as enjoyable.

great way to spend the last days of summer
Overall adequate especially for large parties
Was a bit dated and does not include garbage service, some bed linens or very large tv package.... floors were a bit dirty but adequate to sleep up to 10. Enjoyed the fire pit, really could be excellent just needs a few tweaks to enhance guest experience
Yeah, it’s a bit dated, the way Grammy and Poppie liked it. Comfortable and familiar. Glad you had a good time.
This is a great place for a group. The house is spacious, the location is terrific.
The house was a great place for us. With bedrooms on three levels and multiple bathrooms, everyone could be together or spread out. We enjoyed the various spaces including the outdoor fire pit! The land owner was easy to contact, and was warm and friendly. Proximity to the bike trail and to the Salt Marsh as well as beaches were well enjoyed. Proximity to Provincetown was wonderful as well. We had a great stay.
Thanks for the nice words.

Roomy home, nice yard
We liked having 3 levels to spread out during our stay. Nice large yard with fireplace and yard furniture. Suggestions to make this even better: build an enclosure for outdoor shower for better privacy screen; add ACs to all bedrooms (not just 2 of the 4) - really makes a difference on those occasional hot and humid evenings; charge a little more to add curb-side garbage and recyclable pick-up versus a trip to the transfer station
Wonderful family retreat
Nice, quiet, sparkling clean home with great space and amenities., and a super space for outside gatherings by a fire. Check in was somewhat frustrating because instructions didn't mention to pull box forward. However, owner was readily available and very helpful. The TV presented somewhat of a challenge to manage and considering the heat during that week, more window air conditioners would've been welcome. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I hope we can rent that hone again in the future.
Nice family vacation house
Great location. Close to beaches, bike trail & shopping. The house had plenty of room and convenient layout for our family. We enjoyed our stay.
Thanks Lisa, it was a pleasure to have you stay with us.

Best beaches on the Cape! National Seashore ocean beaches, Nauset Light and Coast Guard, with their classic Cape Dunes and Nauset beach in Orleans( with the famous Liam’s onion rings and fresh seafood) are minutes away. First Encounter bay beach as well as several fresh water ponds, great for the young ones, are also nearby. You can bike for miles on the Rail Trail, sail, kayak or fish (charter or ocean beach). Close to markets large and small, great restaurants, tons of ice-cream parlors, mini-golf and kid friendly activities . Whale watching, winery tours, wild life sanctuary, surfing and boogie boarding, cinemas, and shopping are all close at hand. There is even a drive-in theater which doubles as a huge flee market weekends. Centrally located, 25 minutes to busy Hyannis or Provincetown, yet you still can enjoy Eastham’s quiet restfulness.
