Walk to the Lift across the street. Amazing views and convenience. It is great to be onsite and not have to drive up and down the long steep road to the Mountain. Quiet and Beautiful up here.
We had a wonderful time the unit is very nice. It was great exploring the area. We want to come back in summer. We will call you then. thank you Joan
Great Location! Difficult to find at night. Easy in the day. Not very clean upon arrival. Had a visit in the night by some type of rodent that got into our food but what do you expect in the mountains. Owner was very accessible and was concerned about rodent so hopefully fixed.
This place was fully stocked and nicely clean. There was plenty of cooking tools and utensils in the kitchen with plenty of cups and plates, and there were even plastic cups and plates if you had little ones. The heating is all electric in the bedrooms, with a nice gas log on a thermostat in the family area, it was pretty cold inside when we got there as no one had been there for a few days.
If you wanted to walk to the Sundown lift, it's about 200 yards from the door of the condo. There is a bus stop in that area that will take you anywhere in the resort for free. We did ride up the Sundown lift and used Slow Poke to get to the middle parking lot, but I would not recommend that method unless the trail had been groomed as it's pretty flat. We did ski back to the lodge from the Hidden lake lift several times following the lodge trail. You do have to unstrap and walk across the road at some point, but then we skied to the back door. The garage is pretty narrow and 2 cars long. We did manage to get a Honda pilot and civic in the garage at the same time, but there was not a lot of room to spare.
Overall this was a great place to stay.
Place was nice carpet had not been vacuumed though and the heat wasn't very efficient other than that great views
The condo was very nice, with a great location, across from a lift and short drive to the main base of the mountain. It is a little older but has plenty of room and nice TV, etc. Darin was very willing to answer questions and offered help when needed. Enjoyed the stay.
This is a great condo at Powder Mountain. It is not exactly ski in ski out but it is an easy walk to the road and then to Sundown Lift. There are easy continuous shuttles to the main area and so there is almost no walking You can also take the Sundown lift and easily ski to the main area (a little pushing). The condo itself was just great - very spacious, great views, good beds, great kitchen and cooking with lots of spices, flour, sugar and items left. We could not get up the canyon in our car the first night and had to take the bus so the extra items left was a real help. The garage is heated and convenient to leave skis and not have to them carry up. This was one of the best condos we have ever had for skiing. A++
Darin was a great person to rent from or through too.
Another great stay at Powder Mountain! As usual the condo was perfect. Everything you need or could want is available at this condo just stop at the bottom of the mountain to stock up on groceries and there's no need to come back down until your leaving. A little less snow than usual this year but the skiing was still a blast. Never a lift line!! Can't beat Powder Mountain! We'll be back again next year. Thanks for everything Darin.
