Good. Downstairs apartment was clean, cute and quirky. Nice neighborhood and location. (Did note though: outside light was out; no bath soap; steam shower broken. ) Would bring my own soap and t.p. and stay there again.
Thanks Pat: Outside light was working. will check it out, it's fairly new, motion sensor for guest convenience. Have bath soap in container in the bathroom, must have neglected to put some out on the sink for you, apologies. Extra TP was under the bathroom sink.
I wish you had reached out to me like you did when you arrived. I could easily have remedied all for you, and happy to do so.
My partner and I stayed in this lovely basement apartment with our two children during a recent visit to Hendersonville. The space was filled with light and has all the amenities you would need to stay comfortably. We utilized the kitchen for meals, the huge bath for bathing our little ones, the upper deck at night to take in the stars, along with a few games of pool and darts after the kiddos went to sleep. The location was perfect, we could walk to town and easily drive to hikes and museums. Anne was helpful in getting us settled and provided information about happenings in the town. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again when in Hendersonville.
This is NOT the full house. It is only a basement apartment. The listing is wrong.
When we first got to the property we were expecting the FULL house as listed on the website. We were only given a two bedroom basement apartment underneath the house which we did not feel welcomed at. The steam room that was listed on the website was “broken” and unable to use. The first night, around 9pm, we were confronted for playing music before heading out to check out the town. We were then woken up by their footsteps around 6AM and every morning thereafter on our vacation. The next day we were receiving messages through the app and having to worry about our homeaway instead of enjoying our vacation. The owner continued to message us even after we checked out. The second night we were disturbed by the owner who came downstairs and told us to “shut the *bad word* up” because we were once again being too loud for her liking. Overall I would NOT recommend staying here to anyone. The house was not shown as advertised and we were disturbed multiple times throughout our stay. The main reason we picked this location was to have a nice house to ourselves and not be disturbed on our vacation and neither of those things were accommodated due to false advertising and poor hospitality.
Could this be retaliation for the terrible review I gave you? I think so. The website clearly states in words and pictures that this rental is an apartment, and I live upstairs. Since you and your group certainly do not know how to behave as adults, I agree that you need to come up with the funds to afford a place to yourselves.
The first night when I introduced myself you told me how well pleased you all were with the place. Yes, it was 9 pm and yes your music was loud enough to be heard in the next block. So I politely asked you to turn it down. But when you and your boyfriend started to yell, scream and slam doors at 2 in the morning the second night, yes, I told you to shut the hell up, get out or I would call the police. Fortunately, you did. I have been a landlord for many years and luckily don't experience this kind of ridiculous drama very often.
I also discovered that someone had been smoking pot inside the house, which is against the rules and the law. Deny it all you want, but this house is smoke free and I know that someone did. You will never darken this beautiful place again with your childish behaviors.
We really enjoyed our stay. Great location. Loved the game room!
Enjoyed our weekend in Hendersonville at the cozy retreat! Convenient to downtown and really comfortable beds! The best part was loving on the house cat Khanji! What a beauty!
Lovely basement apartment and has an awesome game room. Our family had a great time!
Just a stroll away .... enjoy nearby wineries, breweries, fabulous restaurants, gift shops, and lots of fresh vegetable markets and apple stands. (Did you know that Henderson County is number 7 in the nation for Apple production?)
