While sitting alongside the hand-crafted bar, take a second to enjoy your favorite appetizer and beverage before venturing out to your favorite local restaurant. If you decide to stay in for the evening, remember at “Latitude Adjustment,” as noted from the “5 O'clock Somewhere” clock at the bar, that time stands still, and merriment abounds! Allow the cheerfulness and liveliness of the decor to become a state of mind during your stay at the Dunes 307.

The King sized bed is decorated in tropical prints. There is a master bathroom for your convenience. Down the hall you will find a set of bunk beds in the hallway, another bathroom, and a full-sized washer and dryer. The condo also features a living room, dining area, and full kitchen with microwave. Bring your k-cups to enjoy the Keurig as well as the automatic drip coffee maker. The 2019 updates include new bamboo flooring, new light fixtures and fresh paint as well as new dishes, silverware, pots and pans, a crock-pot, new stock pot, blender, and every appliance you might need to prepare a meal for your family.

This condo does have internet access. Watch the sun rise over the Gulf of Mexico as you sip your morning coffee on the balcony, planning your day's adventures then watch the sunset over Fort Morgan as you enjoy your evening cocktail, relaxing after an action packed, sun-filled day. Make this a vacation you will never forget.

Bring your bicycles to ride in our gated neighborhood or make the 1-mile trip to historic Fort Morgan. The Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Estuarium (featuring large aquariums filled with native sea life) is a short ferry ride away and is a favorite for children. The excitement of Gulf Shores including The Wharf, Waterville, a zoo, the Hangout, and outlet shopping are just up the road. The outdoor enthusiast will love the proximity to golfing, charter fishing and shrimping, kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing, nature trails and of course swimming!

Nice place, but far away from Gulf Shores activities

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was really disappointed that this condo was so far away from the rhythm of life that Gulf Shores provides its visitors.The condo was a little outdated; I wish the king bed was more comfortable. The pool area had some unruley kids that were very loud and their parents didn't seem to care; plus there was trash just laying around the pool area on two separate times I visited the pool. But the view!!!! The view from the patio was absolutely amazing and was the perfect cure for my life as a special education teacher from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I most likely will not stay here again because it was so far away from the "life" of Gulf Shores mixed with some of the minor, yet basic details that I look for in a home-away-from-home, but it did provide a lot of respite from my life as a single dad and special education teacher with a part-time job working with disabled adults.

Quiet paradise

I have wintered in the south off and on for over 20 years. Florida, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana and ALWAYS return to Alabama. I have enjoyed the years of excitement, fun, crowds and shopping of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach and for the first time tried the solitude of Fort Morgan. I will be returning to this area until I am no longer able to travel or I run out of money. Whichever comes first. I love it.

Fantastic Stay!

The condo was very clean and well-maintained, it was the perfect size for two! The full kitchen had everything we needed and washer and dryer were even nicer than what I have at home lol. The location was very quiet and the beach very relaxing and felt secluded and private with only a couple other families during our stay. We could both walk and drive to the beach, which was nice if we wanted to bring a lot of things with us. The staff was always available and super courteous. We loved eating breakfast out on the balcony, it was a gorgeous view of the beach and Sand island lighthouse! The guest book was a super sweet touch, and we hope to stay again in the future.

Labor Day 23

Unit exactly as portrayed. Gorgeous. Access to beach not described well in description. Bed could use a memory foam topper. An extra garbage bag would have been great. Like 1 for each night rented. Same for dishwasher tablet. Indoor/outdoor pool and the hottub were fabulous and much appreciated. Loved the slow paced, less crowdedarea.
