2 bed villa (sleeps 4 +2) in Calanuza, close to the beach and all amenities

The villa has spacious accommodation over 2 floors with 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a twin beds, all furnished to a high standard. The double bedroom has access to a balcony with splendid sea views. Elsewhere in the villa you have a fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, cooker, microwave and fridge freezer. There is a utility room that houses a washing machine. Further to this there is a family sized bathroom with bath/shower. The Lounge has a comfortable double bed-settee, dining table and chairs, as well as a DVD player and music centre. The Villa has English and Spanish TV

To the front of the property is a raised patio area with sun loungers, garden table and chairs, arranged under an awning. To the rear of the property you find a courtyard with a BBQ and assorted outdoor cooking appliances for al-fresco dining. Again there is ample outdoor seating.

The property benefits from the use of the communal pool and gardens, only a few steps away.

The Gardens & The Pool: Dennis and Tina have worked wonders with the gardens and the flowers are a sight to behold during the Summer months. Bougainvillea cascades over the balustrades creating an authentic Spanish touch. In early Spring the Jasmine is also fantastic - wonderfully fragrant at night. The rear courtyard has a superb range of alfresco cooking facilities - ideal for enjoying the long barmy Spanish nights.

The pool area is housed in a secure gated environment - ideal for families. There is a small child pool as well as a full size pool for the more energetic. There are ample chairs and loungers free for you to use and to enjoy the sunshine.

Local bars and restaurants: There are a number of excellent bars and restaurants in the area. In particular there is the welcoming English bar and restaurant - The Jetset Bar - with a good range of food on the menu (including a take-away service), entertainment on selected days (see the notice board inside for details! ) the bar also as Wi-Fi. Also there is the Venta La Nuza Spanish restaurant which offers a full range of Spanish meals and tapas plus they have an English menu - well worth a visit.

Bar/restaurant Poblet by the local super market also offers a very good menu it also as Wi-Fi All of these establishments offer 'Menu del dia'. One station down on the tram will bring you to a place called Paradise where again you have a full range of bars and eateries, including a fantastic Chinese restaurant. For that special evening of the holiday why not try the five star Monteboli Hotel ala carte restaurant.

The area of Venta La Nuza is very peaceful having its own sandy cove and a small harbour only one minute from the villa .

After a busy day sightseeing it is a pleasure to come back to the villa and enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility of the area

The outside of the property offers a fabulous array of appliances for your use and to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It is a fantastic holiday for couples or families wanting to soak up the sun, sea and sand. The tram is just behind the complex, offering easy reach to the shops. It is a quiet location and we have had lots of success in renting the property and every year we have had couples and families returning because they have enjoyed the villa so much and our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible because that is what matters to us

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Dennis and Tina’s villa in El Campello during the February half term break. The Villa was everything we could have asked for; clean and well-equipped and most importantly, right on the doorstep of the tramway which enabled us easy access to both Alicante and Benidorm. Dennis was the perfect host; he arranged to collect us from the airport and arrange our transfers as well as giving us as much detail as possible about the local area. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Gorgeous holiday home

We booked this villa because of its location close to a beach and security. It is fully enclosed gated community and a very secure area. The beach is amazing, so clean and not too overcrowded. There is a lovely snack bar on the beach or bring your own snacks as its just across the road. The villa was spotless, and the kids were delighted with so much space. The pool is just to the back of the villa and again spotless and we loved our break here. We got the tram every evening to El Campello or Villa Jiosa (10 mins) kids travel free where we had our dinner and got bread/fruit etc for next day. We also ate in the bar across the road and watched a couple of football games there.

Dennis the host could not have been more helpful and Judith who takes care of the complex is a lovely lady and very helpful. We would hope to return here again as we loved it so much. Everything is so cheap! €1 for wine in the Lidl!! The shopping centre a few tram stops away is amazing with all the main brands zara H&M etc. We couldn't find fault with anything - remember to pack your tea bags :)

Lovely house and garden. Near pool and beach

Lovely place. Near all except supermarket. We took tram to El campello and there was all we need. Clean Tram easily took you to other places. The house was wonderful and we love the garden with shadow when we need it. We want to return 2019.

great week in the sun

Had a great time at this villa owners dennis and tina made sure that everything ran like clockwork for us from picking us up at the airport,stocking the fridge because we arrived at a time when shops were closed,explained well about everything in the house and surrounding area.

Villa was nice and clean and outdoor area is brilliant as it is quite private due to the plants surrounding the front of the property and pool area also clean and very close to the villa.

The tram that is close to the house was excellent for getting around the area we went to el campello,benidorm,alicante and villajoyosa for us much better than hiring a car as we were happy visiting coastal places if you were wanting to travel inland a car would be essential.

We really enjoyed this holiday and would love to go back asap cheers henry and debbie

2 month winter long stay

Villa was clean, and we had a very good welcome from th owner and his wife who went through everything with us. It is very well equipped.. the only thing I Missed was a sun bed to lie flat on.. English TV was particularly appreciated as th nights were dark, and beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the duvet at this time of year.

Minor problems - it was very cold some of the time we were there, and the reverse clime wasn’t working. However, the owner tells me this is being replaced. One othe issue for a lng winter stay was the suite in the lounge , which had definitely seen better days, and was very uncomfortable. Not a problem in the summer when people would spend most of the time outside.

As far as the situation is concerned, we lover the little cove 2 minutes walk tram is also very convenient , our problem was it did not allow dogs, so we could not use it. The villa is in a gated complex, and therefore very secure, but it is isolated, and the nearest supermarket is a long walk away up a hill. It is about 10 to 15 minutes drive to El Campello, and la joyosa, both nice towns with plenty of Facilités.

Owner's Response: Hi Jackie & Alex, Thank you for your few kind words, reference, sunbeds we have 6 of them the chairs around the table outside fully recline giving you sun beds. Air con units, both units in the bedrooms work and the temperatures on them were set on the highest point. We also provided you with a mobile gas heather and a mobile oil heater all of these should have made it comfortable for you. I agree the weather this Feb/March was exceptionally cold for Spain. We also told you that the sofa bed is being replaced this season, re dogs on the tram we have no control over that rule. We have two Bar/restaurants in easy walking distant from the villa plus a bus and tram service that will take to local supermarkets and towns plus you had a car to get you around. Dennis & Tina

Lovely villa,home from home. Everything you need for a great holiday.

Just come back from staying at Dennis and Tina's villa in Venta Lanuza in Spain. We were there for 17 days and had a fabuolous time. The villa is in a small gated community very close to a small beach. The villa was very well equipped with everything you need for a great and relaxing holiday. It was very clean both inside and out. Dennis and Tina were both very nice and there to give us a tour of the villa and a brief overview of the area.

We were amazed at the lovely weather while we were there and tee shirts and shorts were the order of the day,every day. The villa is approx half way between Alicante and Benidorm. As we didn't have a car we used the local Tram which runs about 50 yds past the villa. It was so very easy to use and reasonably priced. As I said the distance to walk to the Tram is litteraly, out the front door, round a corner,through the gate and up the road for 1 minute and the station is there. You can get to Alicante, Benidorm and lots of small towns and villages inbetween.

Going back to there being everything in the house there was even a shopping trolley which we used to do our weekly shop. You see the spanish with these trolleys all the time. Again we caught the Tram to a place called El Campello, where there was a supermarket across the road from the station. Did our shopping the got the Tram back again. The Tram's run every half an hour in both directions.

If I had to be negative about anything it would be that there is a bit of road noise that can be heard,however it really didn't bother us.

I would definitely go again and have no concerns about recommending the villa to family and friends.
