About Ashleigh Cox
We are a lively, friendly and sociable couple who currently work in the corporate world but plan to run our Holiday Cottages full time in due course. My husband David and I play tennis, ride and really enjoy the local area having visited ten years ago and have lived here now for nearly three years. Our Cottages are a result of my vision to harmonise vintage with modern luxury... we hope you love it as much as we do! I also speak fluent Italian.
Ashleigh Cox purchased this Cottage in 2016
Why Ashleigh Cox chose Bourton-on-the-Water
We fell in love with Wisteria Cottage three years ago when 'we first set eyes on it' was such a great 'homely feel' to it which everyone senses the minute they walk through the door. Unfortunately three years ago the Cottage configuration did not lend itself to adapting to a Bed and Breakfast with living space for ourselves incorporated. So we had to choose an alternative property. However, as luck would have it, when we were looking for a rental cottage that felt like 'Home from Home'.... Wisteria Cottage was once again on the market... so we snapped it up... added two new bathrooms and upgraded it to a fabulous spec.
What makes this Cottage unique
Wisteria Cottage has it all!! From the stunning 'perfect' Cotswold Cottage frontage adorned with Wisteria in the summer to a fabulous amount of living space .... 4 double bedrooms, three bathrooms, an super safe enclosed garden... all just a stones throw away on the flat from the picturesque village of Bourton on the Water. The interiors are decorated with traditional farrow and ball paint coupled with a perfect combination of vintage and new. Try it for yourself... you are guaranteed to love it!

Enjoyed our stay at Wisteria Cottage
The location is just great, easy walking to the village, and easy to get to other places of interest, would recommend the Maze just a 10 minute walk from the house. Lovely home for 3 nights, warm and spacious with a great kitchen area, although the lounge is small for 8 it was still comfortable for our stay. My only negative is that with 8 guests getting ready would be handy if there was a long mirror in one of the four bedrooms ! Great hosts and nothing seemed like to much trouble, will return hopefully in the near future.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. It was great having you all to stay.. and it is lovely to hear people enjoy the cottage as much as we do.
Thank you for the great feedback re the Long mirror... great point ... l will add a few to the rooms.
We do normally have an extra chair in the bay window in the snug... but unfortunately a previous guest had a red wine
mishap so we've had to remove it and will replace it.
We look forward to welcoming you next time... and again, thank you so much for taking the time to review.
Have a super Christmas and New Year.
