No check in help
Beautiful home very good set up. We loved all the rooms and amenities. A rough start since we arrived for check in and had no way of knowing. What to do to get into house. I never received instructions on check in. Luckily the grounds keeper was there working on the yard and helped us get in contact with owners. Also there is no cell phone service , have sprint, virgin mobile Verizon and T-Mobile none worked in or near the house.they did provide a land line. Overall I loved everything except the checkin communication. I will definitely tell my friends and family to use this property as often as we can.
Thank you too owners
Red power and ride.
We did a combined trip for Bloomsberg Red power show and AOAA trails. House has so much old nostalgia and the 12 of us had a great time, so close to trailhead was great! Towels and linens were great. Shower floors a little slick. Window a/c units kept whole house nice and cool. Overall great, would stay here again for trail system.
Great spot near AAOA. We stayed here during a Roush weekend, which was about a 30 minute drive. Homeowners were responsive and accommodating. Have use of the garage too, which was great with all our Jeeps. I’d stay here again, which is the best compliment I could give.
Perfect for AOAA riders!
Great proximity to AOAA. Charming Victorian house. ADA showers were odd at first but sure cleaned up easily after a day at AOAA. Loved sitting on porch sipping coffee while watching vehicles drive by (on their way to AOAA) with a beautiful view beyond that. Kitchen fully stocked. Having a washer and dryer was great to clean up after a day of riding. Found great restaurants in Shamokin. Met Chris, one of the owners. Went out of his way to stop by and say hi. Very nice to deal with. Already planning next trip.
Family friendly house
We went for the weekend - 3 families - 7 adults and 8 kids. There was plenty of room for all. The first night there my 9yr old grandson found a Monopoly game and couldn't wait to play. I hoped to take advantage of the fire pit but we got back to the house very late at night and didn't have time. Saw deer in the back yard in the morning and of course a couple chickens visited us. The house has comfortable furniture and beds. Having 2 tables for meals was very convenient. Kids ate in the kitchen and the adults went to the dining room. When we have another family event in the area we will definitely see if this house is available. Thanks for letting us have a great family weekend there!
Great space to gather family and friends! Response to any questions were almost immediate. Already planning to come back next year.
