This cottage has among most beautiful views that can be found on the Huron shoreline. Located directly where Little Sauble River meets Inverhuron Bay (Inverhuron; 'where river meets Huron') the view of lake and river amidst the unique dune ecology of the area is unforgettable.
Inverhuron is reminiscent of times past with clusters of historic small cottages and a tight knit community where children and teens feel safe to ride bikes and explore, dogs and families play on the beach, and friends and neighbours, many of whom have known each other for generations, get together to enjoy life. It is a little-known but uniquely charming place and many who get to know it come back year after year. Kincardine is 12min drive with all conveniences.
Cottage is decorated in mid-century aesthetic with clean lines and comforts of modern space while retaining warmth, character, and simplicity of beach home. Chef's will appreciate induction cooktop, convection oven, dishwasher, butcher block counters, and ample BBQ. Kitchen is pleasure to cook in while entertaining -- ambiance set by filament bulb pendants above oversized island and bar seating overlooking living area.
Two bedrooms with Queen beds -- comfortably sleeps 4. Modern clean tub/shower and wall hung vanity. For evening entertainment 45" flat screen + Apple TV with large sectional couch. Large wraparound deck perfect for enjoying a drink while watching sunset or grilling dinner. Fire pit shared with adjacent cottage and located down embankment toward river.
Everything new including all beds and mattresses, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, lighting, furnishings and dishware. Care taken to make a special place for those who use it. Caution to users, small size of cottage means not good choice for a crowd -- more than 4 people inside and it feels cramped. Also, though reasonably private, those seeking seclusion should note there is cottage next door that is close by (can also be rented -- please inquire).
