Home away from home
Our stay in this unit was everything it said it would be. It was very clean and well decorated and equipped with your everyday needs. The owners were wonderful and were always a phone call away. The only problems we ran into was the smell of the refrigerator, was clean however had a funky smell but didn’t detour us from using it, the temperature of the place was to warm at night. It was a very hot week and the temp on the condo at night was in the 70’s. Made it uncomfortable to sleep. We didn’t utilize the pool as it was indoors. Would’ve rathered a nice outdoor pool to relax in after a Long Beach day. Staying on bayside was new for us. It was a bit of a pain dragging our beach gear a little further but again wasn’t something that would stop us from staying there. Overall I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a home away from home!

Great location and view for our family other than t.v being down and freezer smell great place to stay would definitely stay again in the future.

Pretty condo in a great spot
We attended the Reach the Beach cheerleading competition this past weekend. The condo we rented at the Makai was clean, nice, and conveniently right next to the convention center where the competition was held. If our team competes at this competition next year, we would definitely stay there again!

It was great. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the refrigerator and freezer. It smelled horrible so we were unable to use it.
Thank you for staying with us and alerting us to the issue with the fridge. I will talk to the cleaning service and follow up on this. As you know, I check in with each guest on the evening of their arrival to make sure things are in a satisfactory condition so for future reference, just let me know and I can have someone come over and take care of any issue immediately. Hopefully you still had a great time at the beach.
