Central apartment with easy access to airport and main tourist sites

This modern 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment is furnished and decorated to a high standard and will make a very comfortable base for your visit. The 10ft ceilings make it a very light, bright place to enjoy your stay in Edinburgh. Located in the popular West End, this is an ideal place to stay when visiting Edinburgh. It is at the end of the world famous Princes Street and easy walking distance to all attractions. You will find a wide selection of shops, boutiques, cafes, bars, restaurants, pubs, bistros and grocery stores on stepping out the door. Next to the apartment entrance is a Sainsbury Local (grocery store) where you can buy everything you need for your stay.

The lounge/dining room/kitchen area is bright and spacious with wood floors. There is comfortable sofa seating for 4. The dining area has a table and chairs for 4 and is adjacent to the fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen has an electric hob, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and small washer/dryer - all that you will need to make life easy while on vacation.

Bedroom 1 is spacious with an en-suite shower room. The bed is a US Queen (UK King) size. Free standing closet provides ample storage for all your belongings. This room overlooks the rear of the property ensuring a peaceful nights sleep. There is a flat screen TV in this bedroom. The en-suite shower room is fully tiled and has a heated towel rail and shaver point.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed and is also at the rear of the property.

A full bathroom is accessed off the hallway. This has a shower over the bath tub. Again with heated towel rail and shaver point.

Access to the local bus system is at the front door. This is a wonderful way of getting around Edinburgh - you would expect a bus to take you along Princes Street within minutes (there are apps to give the real time position of the buses!). Haymarket Station is a 5 minute walk and Waverley Station is a 20 minute walk or 8 minutes by taxi. The apartment is less than 7 miles from the Edinburgh Airport and is connected by bus, tram or taxi.

It is well located apartment within walking of most sites and services. The rooms are a good size and well maintained. The kitchen contains all modern equipment. The baths were a nice size. The beds were quite comfortable. We felt very safe and secure in this area. There were many choices to dine in the area.

Lovely apartment, excellent location

We booked the apartment based mainly on past reviews, all of which were good, but accurate.

The location could not be better - easy access from airport on public transport, but everything else within walking distance.

The apartment itself was lovely, spotlessly clean (& I’m fussy!), everything you need, handy welcome pack & everything else of good standard and comfortable. Karen met us on arrival which was nice & she made sure we were ok with everything.

I’d definitely stay here again if visiting.

Apart from the main attractions in the city centre,I’d recommend getting a bus to Royal Yacht Britannia which is well worth the visit and we also went into parliament (mainly for a drink & loo stop!) but got a 15 minute talk about the building and how Scottish parliament works and a look round the debating chamber, very interesting.

Also climbed Arthur’s Seat - worth it but you need good footwear & a bottle of water and decent/ dry weather.

All in all, a great few days and the lovely apartment really made the weekend.

Wonderful apartment. I could live there!! Loved it

I thought I had reviewed this fabulous place already. Forgive me for the delay. This apartment is just as described and conveniently located. We loved staying here and wished we lived here. The apartment is very well layed out with the living room/kitchen at the front with a solid door that can close it off from the hall and back bedrooms for those that like to make noise and for those that like to sleep.

The apartment is within walking distance of the train station (although it is also a short taxi ride if you wish). We walked everywhere from here. What a delight it was to stay here. It is also located right above a grocery store that has everything you could need.

We were greeted early in the morning by such a kind women who showed us around and made sure we had coffee and basic necessities available in the apartment when we arrived. She also had great advice about places to shop and explore in Edinburgh.

I hope to stay here again (although I am not sure when we'll make it to Edinburgh again.

Best Flat in Edinburgh

I was able to meet with a few mates and enjoy this wonderful Flat. I was actually shocked that the pictures did not do this Flat Justice. The location along with the large bedrooms and living room were a wonderful delight. I was able to walk outside and be just a stones throw from anything I needed. What a wonderful treat, I would recommend staying here for Family, Couple, Couples, Groups. It works for just about any and everybody :). I was visiting for Hogmanay and the festivities were literally blocks away. Andrew and Karen were so accommodating I couldn’t have asked for anything better during my stay!

Owner's Response: The location of the apartment is ideal with easy access to the airport and the city (by bus or on foot). The rooms are large as the apartment was created in 2012 within a building built in the late 1800s - old world style with modern conveniences. We try to make all our guests welcome and hope to provide first class service.

Light airy and very comfortable

I think we picked the best the apartment clean well furnished with nice airy bedrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped, not that we stayed in and cooked much the weather was so good although did have a takeaway on Saturday.

What more can I say we enjoyed our stay at your apartment and recommend it to anyone and do look forward to booking it again in the near future.

Our apartment is within easy walking distance of the Castle, the Royal Mile and most of Edinburgh's major attractions. Stepping out the main door you will find colourful, stylish boutiques and some of the city's most-loved pubs and bars which combine to create a bohemian feel to this part of Edinburgh. In the surrounding streets, award-winning retailers and restaurants live side-by-side with inspired architectural buildings.

This is a good base for day trips to Glasgow, St Andrews, Stirling and the Borders. Visit one of 12 Edinburgh Festivals - Fringe, International, Books, Film, Art, Jazz and Blues to name just a few. Easy access to the local bus system and taxis if you don't want to walk. Around 30 minutes from the airport by tram, bus or taxi.
