Villa Nova is an exclusive development in the historic town of St Remy de Provence. Within the development there are 15 townhouses, built in 2005, and the original epoque villa, which dates back to 1896, now converted into 4 apartments. Villa Nova is a secure, gated site with private parking and courtyard gardens offering a peaceful base for your stay in this wonderful town. The house is only a 5 minute stroll from the heart of the town.

This townhouse offers you 3 floors of contemporary, stylish, living space overlooking the beautiful gardens of Villa Nova. This house is south westerly facing giving you the opportunity to enjoy the terrace and gardens all year round.

On the ground floor the open living space has 2 large comfortable sofas, a 46inch flat screen, 3D Samsung television, with blue-ray DVD player. There is also a Sony wireless speaker system which is compatible to iPad, iPod, MP3 and laptops.

There is a large dining table with 6 chairs.

A large modern kitchen with a full range of Siemens appliances gives the option of dining in when the mood takes you. Step out of french doors onto the large sunny terrace. There is an fully-automatic electric awning to allow you to use the terrace all year round and enjoy the pleasure of eating outdoors with the oak furniture provided.

Up the first flight of stairs to an open landing leading off into 2 of the bedrooms and a bathroom. Both bedrooms have windows opening out onto the gardens and plenty of storage space. The Bathroom has a large walk in shower, basin and WC.

Up the second flight of stairs into the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. This large room has a king size bed, 2 double wardrobes and drawer space. The bathroom has a bath with a shower, basin and WC.

There is full air-conditioning on all floors, central heating and plenty of hot water - providing everything you need for a perfect holiday.

The property manager will personally meet you when you arrive and show you around the house. She is also on hand during the your stay to help with any help you might need.

Comfortable, Spacious and Wonderfully Located

My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasurable 2 weeks in this beautiful townhouse, which is ideally located for walks into town and also for exploring the area by car. The success of out stay was in no small part due to the attention and efforts of the property manager, Julie Palmer. No surprises or problems with this young woman in the picture. The furnishings are very comfortable and everything needed for cooking and habitation is provided, and all of first-rate quality. Would stay again anytime.

Best of all worlds in St Remy!

Just returned from a 20 day European vacation with my husband and 19 and 22 year old daughters. This townhouse was our favorite lodging. It had the charm of the old, but with the good A/C and other comforts of "new".

This compound is a grouping of 8 year old town homes around a 19th century building, also converted to apartments. The new ones were so well designed they look very similar and blend well with the old building; however, as mentioned above, they have all the modern conveniences and comforts. The compound is very secure and requires a key for entry/exit, and when you are inside the compound you feel very isolated. As you exit the compound you take a left and walk a couple blocks to the main square, so the convenience is great.

The TV has English language stations, an added bonus.

Communication with Julie was excellent before, during and after our stay. I truly recommend this highly if you are traveling with a family.

St. Remy Luxury

This is a first class property on exclusive, private and gated grounds. Our townhouse was indeed deluxe. Highly recommended. The individual who manages the rental is very nice and very helpful (not supposed to use her name) St. Remy is a fairly charming little town with many restaurants and shops all within short walking distance. Centrally located to most sights in Provence. Highly recommended.

PERFECT

We were 2 couples, planning on staying in St. Remy for a week. The townhouse could not have been more perfect. It was close to town, so we walked to get pastries, fruit, & for our evening meals.

The townhouse is located in a gated area, with paring available. It was completely stocked with whatever we needed. When we asked for some additional Nespresso pods, (which we love), Julie, the manager, brought them right over. Julie also provided us with restaurant recommendations, and ideas for some excursions. She is a lovely person, efficient, but so friendly and capable.

We would recommend renting this townhouse. It is modern, clean, with 2 complete bathrooms, & a toilet on the main level. The stairs can be a bit tricky, although one person in our group just had knee surgery & he did well.

Restaurants in the area were all great, especially Le Decale

& Bistro DeCouverte

The market on Wed is wonderful. We bought some mini watercolors which we loved. The shops are great, very friendly & helpful

As you can tell, we loved everything about this charming village. The choices that we made for our stay could not have been better!

A real find

We had two couples sharing the villa in late July. This is a first rate villa. Well designed and very well located in St Remy. Boulangerie was only three minutes away. Rest of St Remy was another two minutes further. Everything was as promised and Julie provided great service as well as helpful tips for getting around the area.

Wonderful litle St Remy

Perfectly located in the litle town of St Remy. Accomodtions were clean and comfortable for our group of 6. St Remy is perfectly located for day trips to all Provence has to offer. St Remy also has great litle restaurants, market day, patisseries, boulangeries, etc. Villa Nova is a short walk to the central area of town and shops. Grounds of Villa Nova complex were neatly groomed and well maintained. The apartment was perfect with 3 bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, large living and dining area, great kitchen and very nice patio area with awning. We definately would go back.

The house is located in the beautiful region of Provence offering a never-ending choice of activities for all ages and tastes. There is the Van Gogh walking trail, Historical tours of Les Baux, Glanum and other Roman monuments. Famous Provence markets, traditional bull fighting and many local fetes to enjoy! Jump in the car and head off to the Camargue or Luberon areas. There is the UNESCO sites of the Palais des Papes and the Pont de Saint Benezet in Avignon also the Pont du Gard - a roman masterpiece. Towns of Aix-en-provence, Nimes, Montpelier and Marseilles are all within an hours drive. You really are spoilt for choice!
