My mom, 15 yo daughter & I went on a last minute Eureka Springs getaway. I had a very quick reply to my inquiry about the property & booking was easy! We immediately fell in love with this place. It could not be more warm & welcoming. We really enjoyed the various books & magazines. Was nice to unplug from our devices. There were a few snacks & coffee available. Considering my daughter forgot her luggage at home, we really appreciated the washer & dryer :) Beds were comfy! This was located right on Main Street just a block or so from downtown shopping. Easy walking to & from the restaurants & shops. With this location, comes some traffic in the early morning but totally worth it to be so close to downtown. I hope to be back to enjoy this great stay again.
Thank you so much. Your place is fantastic!!
We booked for a two night stay to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday and could not have been happier with the accommodations! The place was decorated so cute, very clean and in a great location. We visited a few other places while in town and I noticed that most were decorated in a somewhat 90’s interpretation of Victorian decor. Totally not the case with this place and we were very happy for it!
Reasonably priced an easy walking distance to downtown. Plenty of parking and easy access in and out of town. Its a nice clean comfortable house with a big outdoor seating area that is well shaded. Our new favorite place to stay in Eureka Springs.
Perfect place for a weekend in Eureka
We had a great time spending the New Year in Sundown Cottage. The location is great and offers off street parking. It's a very short walk to everything downtown so there's really no need for your car once you arrive. The cottage has a small but useful kitchen so it's easy to prepare your own meals if you choose. We had a few issues with VRBO during the initial booking and Joe, the owner, went out of his way to make sure our booking went smooth. We use VRBO often and Joe is a fantastic host. Also, we have two small service animals and we felt completely welcome with them. The same cannot be said of some other places in Eureka Springs. I would not hesitate to recommend Sundown Cottage to anyone.
Eureka Springs Cottage
Great location on the edge of historic Eureka Springs. Easy walk to all that downtown Eureka Springs has to offer. Cool, well appointed cottage with everything you would need to be comfortable. Except privacy. This is technically a 2 bedroom cottage, but to get to the second bedroom you have to go through the first bedroom, which is in the same room with the only bathroom. Great for a couple, not great for more than 2.
Cutest little cottage with fun décor. The cottage had everything we needed for our two night stay, including the cooking supplies we needed to cook a meal. LOVED the walking distance to downtown Eureka Springs. The housekeeping could be a little better - dirty return air vent and a few cobwebs on the wall. The cottage is also located on quite a noisy street. Overall, I would recommend staying here, especially if you want to be close to downtown Eureka.
Sorry if the cottage had cobwebs. We went down with housekeeper and couldn’t find them. But did address the vent. Glad your stay was fun.
