Was very fantastic. We had a group meeting which worked well. Kitchen/dining area easy access and mobility. Beautiful views of the valley.
Great weekend getaway
We enjoyed our weekend on Whidbey Island. The house was clean and accurately described on site. The location was great for visiting Langley and close to several wineries!
Family home for wedding
Our family rented this house for a wedding at nearby Fireseed. The property is beautiful and quiet. Views from the main floor over the valley are great. Large kitchen with supplies, great room has games and books, and a large game room downstairs has lawn games. Perfect for 8 adults.
Thank you for your review Cassie. So glad you enjoyed your stay at Hawk's Perch.
Lovely Retreat from Hustle and Bustle
Lovely get away close to Seattle but so far away in terms of quiet, nature setting. Very comfortable living area and ideal area for cooking and eating inside or out. Many nice touches like good books, games, telescope and binoculars. Would definitely rent again.
Thank you for the thoughtful review. Hope we do have the chance to host you another time.
Wonderful house in an idyllic place
We were all pleasantly surprised with the house. We missed it driving there, so the entrance is not very obvious and when we first saw it, we didn't think much of it. However, when we entered the house, we were all impressed. We had a party of 6 aged 3 to 73 and ages in between and there was something for everybody in this house. Toys, ample stock of DVDs, ping pong table, lots of good books.
Whidbey Island is a wonderful place. There are plenty of things to do - all within a short driving distance. There is not much within walking distance around the house. Just stunning scenery! We loved making a fire in the firepit on the lawn and eating s'mores. Our favorite grocery store was the Goose, 5 minutes away from the house.
We once made the mistake of coming to the island from Seattle on a Friday afternoon and had to sit in the ferry lane for about one hour. This was about the only time that we had to wait so long for the ferry. All other times, it was more or less a 10-15 minute wait before we got on the ferry.
Overall, it was great value for money. If we ever come this way again , we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to share a review for Hawk's Perch. Happy to hear you had a wonderful stay.
