Comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment located in the picturesque middle income residential area of St. Silas Heights, St. James.

Located less than 10 minutes drive from the lovely west coast beaches, Holetown, Sunset Crest, Limegrove, Warrens area. Very close to the Waterhall Polo field and the golf courses at Apes Hill, Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane.

The apartment is on the bottom floor.

Both bedrooms contain a double bed. One has an overhead ceiling fan which keeps the room cool, the other is air-conditioned. There are security bars and insect screens so the windows can be opened for natural ventilation if desired. Cooking and eating utensils e.g. fridge, stove, toaster over, microwave, plates, cups, cutlery are there. Towels and bed linens are in place. Laundry facilities are also available. There is cable and wifi. There is a cell phone for guest use while staying.

There is a garden area for sitting, reading, barbequing, playing and quiet conversation. There is also a deck area accessible to guests staying on the property with a lovely view which you are welcomed to use. There you can have beer or glass of wine after a day at the beach or touring the island with your rental car.

For the independent traveller, you can use the vehicle to drive around and see what our lovely island has to offer. Enjoy the beach on the West and South coast, Oistins on a Friday evening, lunch at the Animal Flower Cave, St. Lucy or at East Point Grill, St. Philip.

St. Silas is a quiet community and safe to walk around. There is also a play area nearby for kids and a play park less than 5 mins drive from the apartment.

If you do not wish to drive, let me know your plans so we can work out how best to get you around while staying in St. Silas. Taxi's can be arranged. A ride by your host to nearby locations / activities on the West Coast can be accommodated once arranged in advance.

Activities on the island are many:

Beaches

Holetown - Surf and Sand Restaurant. On the beach restaurant with beach chairs for rentals. Sports bar as well with a live music some evenings.

Juma's in Speightstown - Fantastic beach with free beach chairs while having lunch on site. Lunch is reasonable and food is good.

Beach activities e.g snorkelling and jet skis available at Sand Pipers Hotel or Surf and Sand Restaurant.

Island Tours available.

Please note:

Weekly maid service is during your stay can be arranged at US$35 per visit.

Rental vehicle requires US$500 deposit to cover damage to vehicle. This cannot be waived and is a requirement of the insurance contract. A hold for this amount is taken on your credit card on arrival.

Vehicle included with the rental is a compact car - Nissan March which seats 2 - 3 people comfortably.

Booking with 4 people will be upgraded to a small Daihatsu Terios jeep.

Normal due diligence/insurance requirements. Minimum age is 21 years and must have been driving for at least 3 years. Valid drivers licence and ID must be presented. Visitor's driving permit available at the property and costs US$10 per permit.

Great Value!

Great location near Holetown. Great set up with two bedrooms. It was perfect having a car and being able to go all over the island. The owner is easy going and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
