Excellent EXCEPT for cable guys
The cable guys came, worked with our permission while we were out shopping We returned to a window wide open and the tv on the couch and DVD machine on the floor. They never returned, so we could not use the living room couch or tv our last night. It was unsafe and inconvenient! Otherwise our stay was very enjoyable!
Week long stay
The cabin looked larger when booked, but overall had good space for 10 people. Beds a bit uncomfortable, could use new mattresses. There was plenty to do upstairs for the kids, they loved the games. Grill is super tiny and we did not use it at all. The resort area is really nice and easy to get through. Pool was great. Limited on pans to use for cooking but it worked out ok. Was an overalll nice stay for a week! I do agree a little more thorough dusting could have been done, but was clean otherwise.
Thank you for taking time to leave your review on our property. I have sent your review to our cleaning manager so that she can go over with the cleaning company. We are happy to see that you enjoyed the amenities at the cabin. We would love to host you again in the future.
What a fun mini-vacation!
The cabin was perfect and had everything that we needed. The location was great and close to everything we wanted to see in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Tons of things to do, places to eat. We will return to see some of the things that we just didn't have enough time to do!
Good cabin layout, terrible upkeep
I hate writing bad reviews, but this cabin was the worst any of us have ever experienced by leaps and bounds. When we got to the cabin, we unloaded our stuff and then, as expected in our modern age, tried to get everyone on the wifi. No Internet at all. We could pick up the "locked" internet of every cabin around us, but we got nothing at all. We decided to move past it and try to use the TV's to rest a bit from the long ride. The TV didn't even work. The only thing that worked was the cable although there were DVD players in every room. The TV in the main room was so cheap that it didn't even have buttons on it. After a few hours of messing with a terrible universal remote, I finally got the TV to change inputs. As for the other amenities, the hot tub didn't work for the entire trip. It had a status of "OH" which I assume was overheated because it was unbearable to sit in. The pinball machine was something that we were really excited about, but it has been neglected for years. Many of the mechanics didn't work including some game breaking ones like the top left flipper and the garage mechanism. For a "Family" sized cabin, there wasn't a single board game, movie, CD or the ability to play music in the entire cabin. Also, for a cabin that sleeps 10, there was only a small dining area for 6. Now, for the cleanliness. Immediately when we walked in, we knew there were going to be some problems. All over the deck, there were old cigarette buds. While inspecting the cabin, we found all of the downstairs windows unlocked. When we took our shoes off, after walking for only a few moments, our feet were covered in dust, dirt, and hair. When we pulled out the downstairs couch, there was an old pacifier with hardened food on it. The bed in the downstairs room had crumbs of some kind on its sheets and glitter all over it. The top bunk upstairs had dust and gray hair all over it, enough to cover someones shirt. Luckily, we brought our own sheets, covers, and pillows or we would not have stayed at all. The refrigerator still had leftover food from the previous guests. When we attempted to cook on the stoves for the first time, the back right burner caught on fire because of the dirt and old food left on the oven. While walking upstairs, we noticed splatters of some substance all over the walls. Both showers had mildew on the curtains. Finally, when we went to clean the upstairs toilet, we found the toilet bowl brush in about an inch of feces filled water, some unknown black substance, and a hardened piece of feces stuck to the brush... I have been to Gatlinburg many times and always stayed in a cabin and this was, without contest, the worst experience I have ever had. Our entire group was disappointed in the cabin and it literally took away from our family vacation that we had been looking forward to for a year. I hope this review will make some serious changes so that further guest can enjoy what could be a beautiful cabin in the mountains. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Our goal is to provide excellent customer service. Our company was not notified , at any time during your stay, that there were any problems with the cleanliness, or concerns regarding the hot tub. None of the issues reported have been reported or present by previous guests or guests since your visit. If we had been notified, there would have been a swift response to resolve any concerns. This cabin has had no reported problems with the TVs, remotes, or with the new pinball games. We have not received any notices from previous guests, of any cleaning issues as serious as the ones you have mentioned. The Housekeeping Manager has done a re inspection of this unit, and all things are in order. Again, if we had been notified during your stay, all efforts would have been made to respond immediately to your concerns. The 24 hour call center information is posted on the checkout procedures on the refrigerator, and is also listed in the Guest Guidebook . This cabin is currently rated 4 out of 5 stars.

Arcade games were great for the kids & young at heart
Very Conveniently located
Nice swing on porch
Upstairs toilet flooded* maintenance responded promptly
Lack of cleaning products
Cabin floors were very dirty downstairs *cleaning service responded promptly and offered to clean again
Parking was awkward in to the driveway and car scraped
The pool was lovely but it was small and only 4 feet deep- teens weren’t happy about that
Didn’t realize cabin was in a community of other cabins
Overall a nice trip. May book with this company Again if different cleaning service is utilized
It was so hot upstairs. The air doesn’t work well upstairs & our kids were uncomfortable. The internet didn’t work at all.
Thank you for your review. We apologize for your issue and would have been more than happy to have someone look at it. When it is over 90 degrees outside it can definitely take a toll on the A/C and how it is able to work and of course heat rises. We do have in our rental agreement and check in information that the internet is provided by the cabin community and if it is absolutely necessary to have that we recommend to bring a secondary source as it is unreliable in the area. We hope to host again. Please come back and see us.
