We enjoyed our 3 night stay! Brent was friendly and helpful. The place is spacious by NY standards and I would stay again! There was coffee for us and an extra bonus - Diet coke in the fridge! Wine too! Brent was nice enough to let us in early so we didn't have to drag our bags around New York City. This place isn't super fancy, but it is nice and way cheaper than staying in the city! It is also quiet.
We loved the proximity to The Pratt Institute and we loved the local dining. The beautiful kitchen was perfect for quick breakfasts and warming up leftovers. My daughter and I felt dry, warm and safe in this location. We visited on some rainy, dreary, dregs of winter, days and our accommodations were welcome end to every day!
We had a lovely time! The apartment was great, quiet street, but close enough to the places we wanted to see. Very clean, nicely decorated. Felt very at home here. We look forward to visiting again in the future.
We have tried many VRBO's in NYC that is until we found this one. The location is convenient to the subway station and the area is quit and clean. There is always a bottle of wine waiting for you. We have walked this area every time day and night and have never felt threaten. I highly recommend this location.
I like to start by saying Brent was excellent to deal with. Brent met us at the apartment and showed us all the features the apartment had to offer. Brent is a sincere and genuinely nice guy.
The apartment was just like the pictures on the listing. An added benefit of staying here versus a hotel, we had the room to have guests over "our" place to visit and catch up. There is ample space to relax after a hard day of sight-seeing and exploring, from the couch and large flat screen tv in the living room, to the full kitchen with upated appliances, to the shower and whirlpool tub in the bathroom.
We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. My wife and I commented, more than once, that this place was so comfortable that we kept forgetting it wasn't ours! Thank you Brent, we definately will book this place everytime we are in NY to visit with relatives.
My girlfriend and I stayed in Brent's Clinton Hill Brownstone for a few days this summer and we were more than impressed. From the Jacuzzi bath tub, sonos sound system, full kitchen with appliances, spices, and dishes, to the added details such as the candy dish, Roku box, or laptop this property was a wonderful oasis for us from the rush and movement of the city. The apartment is only a five to ten minute walk to the subway station and there are plenty of great places to eat and drink in the neighborhood. We would and definitely will stay here again.
