About this property

The open floor plan has the kitchen in the center, open to two living room areas, the dining room, and the entertainment and game room. The dining table can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people and there is additional seating at the bar counter. The kitchen itself has a wide assortment of pots, pans, utensils, blender, coffee maker, etc. The fridge is usually stocked with condiments.

The main suite has a luxurious king sized bed and a comfortable pull out sofa bed. The adjoining bathroom has a large walk in shower as well as an ample walk in closet/dressing room. The bedroom also boasts a private access to the back yard.

Every bedroom has at least one chair, dresser, and mirror to make getting ready in the morning comfortable and easy.

The main living room boasts a large sofa (with a queen size fold out bed), two love seats, and two large chairs for groups to gather for games or movies. The smart TV is set up with wifi and a guest Netflix account. There is a DVD player and many many DVDs to enjoy, too. We do not have cable or over the air channels.

The gathering room is a spacious area with a sofa and two oversize chairs next to a gas fireplace. It's a great place to relax with a good book and a cup of tea.

The large guest bathroom has a spacious tub/shower.

We encourage our guests to enjoy time in the outdoors by providing space for gathering, eating, and playing in the yards and decks. A propane grill is provided for guest use. Enjoy the fruit trees!

Our game room has a popcorn machine and pool table. We also rotate additional games such as foosball, arcade games, etc.

This home has easy access to HWY 97 and everything that Central Oregon has to offer!

Our home is just a few miles from summer swimming and year round enjoyment at Cline Falls State Park, Redmond airport, Deschutes fairgrounds, about 10 miles from Smith Rock State Park, and close to many other exciting location.

Late fall, winter, and early spring bring shorter days and longer nights. This means time to relax by the fire - and trips to the mountains for skiing and other snow sports.

Place needs lovBig care

We left early due to the lack of cleanliness of this place. Walls , door jams, light plates all unkept. We rented for a respite place after a scheduled c section for daughter in law and after a short stay and the time we took to do some sanitizing of the place we all agreed we were uncomfortable. House is on a busy road with lots of vehicle noise. One piece of furniture had broken glass. A pinch mark in the wall by the front door. Even in the landscaping there were 2 dead trees that should have been removed. Place need a lot of Love.

Pros and cons:

Pros: Plenty big enough for a large group. They were gracious to allow us to bring our small dog when their policy was no pets. Nice location and centrally located in Redmond and close to facilities and stores There was quick response time from owners when there were issues with the home. (We had to contact them three times) They had a nice covered front porch which was nice for visiting on Cons: Two mattresses were worn out and slumped to the middle of the bed. (my son and his wife bought camping pads on day two and slept on the floor) The same two bed frames squeaked so loud you could hear them from the adjoining room The carpets were filthy There was a soft spot in the floor outside the master bedroom which we were afraid to step on The water and ice tasted terrible (we had to buy bottled water and ice on day two) The stove and oven were filthy upon arrival The Teflon cookware was terribly scratched and old (Thankfully we had brought our own skillet) The cooking utensils were old and dirty and stained The Garbage disposal was broken but we didn't know it. There were no signs. When we called about it they told us we weren't supposed to use it but they did come and unclog it and repair the leaking pipes. The thresh hold on one of the bedrooms had come up and the screws were exposed. My mom kept stopping on them. The spare bathroom smelled very moldy The hot water heater was inadequate for a large group. Our reservations were for 9 nights but left on the eighth day due to the worn-out beds and my son’s back had enough of sleeping on the floor.

Plenty of room

This property was as nice as expected. We did run out of things that we felt were important, however once we emailed property owner, it was rectified in a very short order with very little wait. I appreciated the promptness of owner to rectify any issues. Thanks for the great memories!!

Perfect house for us!

This was the perfect house for us!! Very well spaced out with bedrooms and a bathroom at both ends of the house. Enormous kitchen and dining room, so all of us could cook and eat together. Then plenty of room to play games or sit in the comfy living room and tell stories and reminisce. My family came from 3 diff states to gather in Redmond. And even though we were there for somber reasons (putting my mom’s ashes at Gray Butte) having the ability to then all be together afterwards meant the world to us. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Definitely recommend to anyone with kids!!
