First Ryokan experience
Pleasantly surprised by the warmth and friendliness of the staff. We were greeted with a welcome tea and sweets served in the room.
Thank you for your staying and writing your comment. We hope you visit Kinosaki again.
Traditional Ryokan with nice staffs
We stayed only 1 night but got a lot of experience with the suppotive staffs who welcome us with the traditional tea and prepared yukata for us. The manager gave all neccessary information to explore Kinosakionsen.
The one of bath house is located in front of the ryokan and also the public foot bath is located at the front door.
Look forward to stay again during falls and winter.
Thank you for your staying. We hope you visit Kinosaki again.
Nice hotel but dinner a bit over rated
We stayed for one night to enjoy the onsens in town. We booked for dinner in our room which was quite pricey. Having read previous reviews that said it was michelin star quality, we decided to book. The food was nice and fresh, well presented but definitely not Michelin star. I think where the cost of the dinner comes in is all the fresh seafood - there was a lot of crab, which was very tasty. It is definitely the 'experience' of eating fresh Japanese food in your room (as is traditionally done), rather than the food itself.
Otherwise a pleasant stay. Staff were excellent, room was large.
I believe that these prices are normal for Kinosaki and if this is the case, I would recommend this Roykan.
Thank you for your stay. If there is a chance to come to Japan please stay at Tsukimotoya ryokan. See you next time!
A relaxing hotel with courteous staff.
I had stayed with the hotel for 2 days. It's such a nice experience to stay in the hotel and kinosaki. The staffs especially the lady who served me breakfast are so nice and well mannered. There are not much choices for dinner at night because shops are closed very early. Most of them are closed at 6pm. Regretted that I did not ordered dinner with the hotel. Their breakfast is so delicious and in good quality.
Thank you for your stay at Tsukimotoya ryokan. We are glad you enjoyed in Kinosaki. If possible please visit Kinosaki and stay. We are looking forward to seeing you again.
Excellent value and standard ryokan
Enjoyed a lovely one night stay. Ryokan provides all the right amenities to enjoy this hot springs town, including an incredible in-room dinner feast, which is particularly wonderful in crab season. Beware: the town - and this hotel - shut down at midday. We arrived at lunchtime and couldn't find anyone here to leave our luggage with, and no signage indicating why. Plan to arrive at 3 pm at the earliest and you'll be fine.
Thank you for your staying at Tsukimotoya ryokan. We are very sorry we were not at the reception before 3pm. We are often on the 2nd or 3rd floor to prepare the guest room. We hope you come back to Kinosaki onsen and stay at Tsukimotoya ryokan again. See you next time!
Family hotel with 140 years in operation, 10 rooms
Nice little hotel now run by 5th generation in the hot spring town of Kinisaki Onsen. Relaxed and quiet. Bathroom on site was too small.
Thank you for your staying at Tsukimotoya and writing your comment. If possible please visit to Kinosaki onsen.
