The historic city of Stirling enjoys a central location with easy access onto M8 & M9 motorways for commuting to Glasgow and Edinburgh, with international airports less than an hour away. Stirling Castle is the grandest of Scotland's castles and one of the most popular visitor attractions. Mary Queen of Scots spent her childhood in the castle and her coronation took place in the Chapel Royal in 1543. Completed in 1869 the 220ft high Wallace Monument sits on the hill top where William Wallace in 1297 watched the English army approach Stirling Bridge before leading his men into battle and onto victory. Stirling is also the gateway to Scotland's First National Park with some of the most breathtaking scenery within a thirty minute drive of the city centre.

Our family of four enjoyed our 5-night stay in this clean, comfortable, and well-equipped two-bedroom, two-bathroom flat. We enjoyed Stirling itself but it also served as a good base for traveling to Doune, the Highlands, and Edinburgh because of easy access to regular train and bus service. The flat was only a few minutes walk to both bus stops and the train station. Thank you Gillian for providing a top-notch property for rent. We dream of returning to Scotland.

Nice flat, really well equipped & warm, in small quite block in a quiet street with easy road access onto main routes into Stirling and also easy walking access direct into the town centre (3 mins walk). Private parking space included. Would definitely use again.

- Better to inform us the cleaning schedule in advance, eg every Tue moring...it is good especially for whom stay in monthly period.
- Better to show us how to use washing machines, Oven, Television...
- if more discount can offer for monthly stay, it is fantistic.

I had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for a month due to work commitments in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by both how quiet the area the apartment was in, and how close it was to the town centre. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and decorated in a modern comfortable style. Would be ideal for both work and perhaps a short break in the city.

Set in the old royal hunting grounds of the Kings Park, Stirling is a golf course of excellent quality and unique character – a golfing experience not to be missed….. Formed in 1869 the club celebrated its 140th year in 2009, aware of the Kings Park’s much longer association with the game of golf.
