Amazing location and as featured
Great location, quiet neighbors, easy beach access with amenities that are as described. If I were coming back to there area it would be the first place I try to book.
We loved this house and especially the location!!!!

Vacation July 2019
We were happy to find the rental as it appears online. Great proximity to the beach. Happy to find little extras we were not expecting (boogie boards inner tubes and charcoal grill)
Hi Todd, we're glad that y'all enjoyed your stay at our beach house and really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. This beach house does have a lot of little extras not to mention sitting right on the beach. You were perfect guests and we hope to have y'all visit us again.
This is a great property and we would stay here again. The house was well equipped and in a great location. Loved having a washer and dryer. Unfortunately, the deck table and some chairs were rusted out and unusable and the lighting in the house, at night, is dim.
Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. The Seahouse sits on one of my favorite spots making seem like you have your own private beach. We're so glad that you enjoyed your stay. Your feedback is important to us and each item from the deck furniture to the lighting will be addressed so that we can continue to provide the best guest experience possible. Again, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and thank you for choosing Beach Getaways.
I love this place! I’d love to buy it!
We enjoyed our time! Wonderful view! I would like to return!
Hey Raj! Thank you for the kind review. We're thrilled you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to hosting you again soon!
Sea House is a short walk from the Lagoon Pass, a stretch of water that connects the Gulf and the Little Lagoon. This a popular fishing spot for both people and the blue herons. The herons are a lot of fun to watch. They usually just stand around waiting for people to throw them the fish that are too small to keep. The Little Lagoon, which you can see from the back of the house, is a beautiful brackish lake surrounded by marshes, swamps, and dunes. It is home to hundreds of species of birds, fish, crab, and shrimp.
As part of Gulf Shores, the house is close to nature trails, water parks, restaurants, and shopping. Gulf Shores has some of the best golf courses in the state such as Peninsula, Craft Farms, Gulf State Park Golf Course, and Kiva Dunes which was named the number one course in Alabama by Golf Week. Gulf Shores is also home to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo which was featured on Animal Planet as “The Little Zoo That Could.” If you have ever wanted to hold a lemur, it is the place to go! One of our favorite places to visit in Gulf Shores is Fort Morgan, a masonry fort finished in 1834 intended to guard the entrance to Mobile Bay. While most famous for its role in the Civil War when United States Admiral David Farragut sailed into the Bay shouting “Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!, the fort served the United States in the Spanish-American War as well as both world wars. It is a great place to visit just make sure to wear bug spray. Dauphin Island, a barrier island in the Gulf, is accessible by ferry from Fort Morgan. There you can visit historic Fort Gaines or the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, a working marine laboratory that also has a public aquarium which highlights the unique ecosystem of the Alabama Gulf Coast.
As part of the greater Gulf Coast area, you can visit historic Mobile, a port city home to museums, the USS Alabama Battleship, and Bellingrath Gardens. You can also visit Fairhope, Alabama, a beautiful bay city filled with flower lined streets, locally owned shops and restaurants, art galleries, and a large public pier. About 34 miles from the house, it is definitely worth the drive. If you make the drive to Fairhope, be sure to stop at Andree's Wine and Cheese for lunch. They have great sandwiches. We especially like the Sunshine Crunch, the Po'Boy, and the fruit bread. You can also pick up some wines, desserts, and breads to enjoy back at the house.
The Gulf Coast is a wonderful place to visit and live. With so much to do and see, we hope that you make Sea House your home base as you explore or just plain relax!
