Bougainvilla is a charming stone house with breathtaking views of the sea, surrounding mountains and the village. It is 5 mins drive to the sea and the restaurants that serve sea food and local dishes.

Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing 2 weeks in this lovely Bougainvilla. When we arrived it was dark and we were very tired from the journey - it was a big lift when you showed us the inside of the villa which is extremely spacious and felt like home straight away. However it was not until the morning came that we could appreciate the true beauty of this place - the views from every window, balcony, terrace and the pool are truly out of this world. Of course non of this would be anywhere near as perfect as it is without your relentless hard work and dedication to making your guests feel very welcome. We came here for peace and quiet for us to rest, relax and recharge our batteries. Because of this and a reluctance to leave the fantastic pool area we have not ventured far during our stay but can recommned Datca, Old Datca, Open market and Knidos.
We stayed in Bougainvilla in September/ October 2014 with our kids and it was the best time we have ever had. We had loads of fun with our kids and loved the pool. The house is really nice, as described, enough space for everyone and Füsun and Gürhan are lovely hosts. Always helpful, friendly, very open minded and there if needed. The weather was great and the view is perfect. Mesudiye is a lovely village with many dreamlike bay and Datca next to it. We recommend this place for all who wants to come down a little and live in the nature.

We stayed here July/August. The villa was as described, clean and well maintained. The views were wonderful, and sitting on the balcony with a gentle breeze blowing was very peaceful and relaxing, The owners, Fusun and Gurhan, live near by and are very friendly. They were always on hand to help and give advice on anything - where to eat, where to visit, where the unspoilt beaches and coves could be found, as well as passing the time of day and putting the world to rights. We hired a car and explored the whole of Datca Peninsula. The roads were mostly good, although a four wheel drive would come in useful for some of the roads that led down to the sea. The landscape and scenery around Datca Peninsula is truly breathtaking. Driving through mountains with the Mediterranean on one side and the Aegean on the other never failed to delight us.
We took two children with us aged 12 and 15, and we slightly worried that they would be bored. However, they both loved the villa with its private pool, the coves and beaches, and Datca area itself, and did not want to leave. Fusun and Gurhan bought a DVD player for the villa whilst we were there, which provided some distraction for the children if we were around in the hottest part of the day and in the evening.
We would all definitely stay here again and cannot wait to return.
We have had a lovely week in Bourgainvilla. The house is situated in a incredibly beautiful landscape with a fabulous view from the house.
There is peace and quiet and it is a good place for relaxing.
A car is recommended because there is 15 km to the nearest supermarket.
Bread, beverage and other daily stuff can be found in a small store by the shore, where you can also find several restaurants.
The owners Fusun and Gürhan are very friendly and hospitable, and always ready to help with nearly everything.
A warm recommendation on this lovely house and its friendly owners. The house itself perfectly corresponds to the website description. The view is stunning, compfort excellent and the general atmosphere relax, quiet and truely agreable. The beach (peaceful and clean as everywhere indeed in the region), good restaurants and a small grocery are only 20' walk down the hill along orchards, olive groves and gardens, or 5' by car. The whole region deserves a golden medal for its serenity, friendly atmosphere and breathtaking beauty. Just a perfect place on earth...

The Greek philosopher Strabon said, 'God would send his beloved servants to Datça to live longer'.
Datça Peninsula is a prized location for tourists because of the beauty of its many coves and bays with crystal clear waters which are favoured ports of call for those undertaking the celebrated Blue Cruise along Turkey's spectacular Turquoise coast. Datca is also famous for its high oxygen level in the air and the low humidity. Even in the hottest summer months, a gentle breeze will allow for a pleasant stay. The sea and the coast line are stunningly beautiful and there are plenty quiet little bays where you can enjoy the peace and beauty.
At the very tip of the peninsula the ancient Carian city of Knidos (Cnidus), home of the Cnidian Aphrodite stands, described by Strabon as 'a city that was built for the most beautiful of goddesses, Aphrodite, on the most beautiful of peninsulas. Mesudiye is the most beautiful village of this peninsula, covered with olive, almond and fig trees.
