The View You Want!
Sleeps 12, 5 bedrooms. 2 full baths. 1 has a bath tub. Parking for 3 cars in the newly paved driveway. Recently refurbished in 2015-2016, Built in 1883 This is a spacious 2,400 sq. ft. historic farm home that has belonged to the same family since 1912 with large Great Room windows and a 1200 sq.ft. redwood deck and a brick patio with a nicely sized outdoor table and a rock fire ring overlooking the Twin Lakes Beach and 7th Avenue Lighthouse, and the Harbor Beach, the Waves, the Sailboats gracefully drifting in and out of the Harbor.

Just 1/2 block to the beach. The kitchen and entertainment room have refinished hardwood floors, custom cabinetry, marble and butcher block counter tops and a mini bar. The entertainment room features a 60 inch flat panel screen and 5.1 surround sound system.
In The Great Room the Living Room and Dining Room are at each end with original hardwood floors and large wool oriental carpets. Dining table seats 8 (16 with the leaves).
The Master bedroom with a king bed has a wonderful view from large windows facing the lake and beach. It also has a private door on the downstairs bath. This bathroom has a shower/tub with handicapped rails and a door onto the hall. The 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms. The 1st upstairs bedroom has
2 Twin beds with a nice ocean view . The 2nd bedroom has 1-Double bed with large windows facing the lake and ocean. The 3rd bedroom has large windows facing the ocean a queen bed and two twin bunk beds. The 4th bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom upstairs is large with a shower and front loading laundry machines. All of the hardwood floors upstairs have been refinished.
The deck has a teak table with 8 chairs. There are four large adjustable deck chairs and a beautiful ocean view. the brick patio with the fire pit has 8 Adirondack chairs and a charcoal BBQ
WI-FI internet at the home. 5 min drive to Capitola, 5 min drive to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. 5 min walk to the yacht harbor.

2-980 East Cliff Drive
We loved our stay! The house is comfortably worn in and family friendly. We had 3 year old twins and a small dog with us. Everyone was comfortable and the location was perfect. We spent a good amount of our visit just sitting on the porch enjoying the view. We hope to come back someday.
Million dollar view from an aged home
Unique in many ways.Lovely view of lagoon and beach.House is aged with a narrow staircase going to 4 bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom.The master bathroom downstairs is the best bedroom with a great view and attached bathroom.Mgt was quick with a repair of clogged shower.Kitchen was well equipped.It feels like a step back to the 1940,s if you like an historic experience.
Spacious home close to the beach!
This house was perfect size for our family of 8. We loved being able to walk to the beach or just stay at the house and sit around the fire pit listening to the ocean. The reason it didn't earn 5 stars is that it would have been nice to know that the house sits on a very busy street and you hear the traffic as much as the ocean. Also there is no extra toilet paper provided, only one roll per bathroom. There was no wood provided for the fire pit either. For the cost of renting this place, people should not have to go find a store and buy toilet paper and firewood.
