Beautifully Decorated One Bedroom Condo, Poolfront

Welcome to the beautiful shores of the Gulf of Mexico and this personally decorated condo. I guess the reviews speak for themselves! Everything to make your stay comfortable, safe and fun. We have a new King size bed and a brand new queen pull out with memory foam over mattress so there is plenty of sleeping room for the maximum 4 people (not including infants). We are constantly upgrading furnishings and appliances (ie: A/C, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, light fixtures) The beaches are a 6-7 minute walk from the complex. I have provided a ‘beach cart’, fat wheeled cart for carrying towels, ice, etc down to the beach. Rollin Tide has it’s own beautifully landscaped and designed pool area with plenty of pool chairs and tables, changing area and bathrooms. Our unit view is the pool from the nicely appointed lanai.

NOTE: We do allow well behaved pets, however, they MUST be treated with ADVANTAGE OR FRONTLINE, NOT Walmart or pet store brands. THEY DO NOT WORK!!!

This area has become one of the most popular vacation destinations in Florida. Our uncrowded, pristine beaches are sparkling white sand from which you can see from Panama City Beach to Destin with no highrises in the way of the view. Think “The Truman Show” which was filmed in Seaside. The emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico are just steps away waiting for you to enjoy.

All along the famous Scenic Route Highway 30-A, are eating establishments, from fine dining to take out, Italian, French, American, some adult, most very kid friendly. Dine with a magnificent view of the Gulf of Mexico from several. 1 block away is Goatfeathers seafood, where you can buy shrimp, crab legs and lobster plus plenty of local catch, some which they will prepare for you. What you will NOT find here are giant fast food chains. This keeps our beautiful area quaint and clean compared to the ‘big city’ feel of Destin and Panama City, which are about ½ hour drive if you are looking for amusement parks and outlet malls.

Next to Goatfeathers, and also about 2 blocks west are a bicycle and kayak rentals. At the beautiful Watercolor area are the latest rage, the YOLO (You Only Live Once) boards for rent. Highway 30-A is famous for it’s 20 plus mile bike path that runs from Rosemary Beach all the way to Topsail state park. Beautiful nature walks and bike trails also in Port Washington State park and Grayton Beach State park. Also available for rent are the very popular golf carts.

Being that we also own the condo directly across the hall, A-1,(To The Beach) VRBO#70881 you may want to consider double booking for more family or friends fun, together but with privacy for all concerned.

This unit became available and Howard and I decided we would share the great experience of vacationing with others at this quiet comfortable location. Why Arlene Gagliano chose South Walton

We both liked the idea of having these two units right next to each other to be better able to manage our guests' comfort. There is also an advantage to those of you who want to travel with family members but don't want to be in the same unit, A-1 and A-2 are right across the hall from each other, close, but separate. Both units overlook the beautiful pool.

What makes this condo unique

There is no long walk from your car to the unit, the parking lot is right outside the door. Our pet friendly unit, 'At The Beach' is also very close to the 'doggy station. We are directly in front of the pool, a very short walk to the emerald waters of the Gulf and every other convenience you could wish, eateries, entertainment and just relaxing. Soft yet colorful furnishings welcome you back from the beach, shopping or just relaxing at the pool.

What a great place to stay

We arrived and were so pleased with the cleanliness and amenities of the condo. Clean facility, nice porch, fully furnished, freezer had a bag of ice in it which was a nice touch, I'm sure left by previous guest but housekeeping left it in case we could use it, which we did. And we in turn did the same for the upcoming guest, left ice bag in freezer. This is so close to the beach, walking there daily was a joy. We started our mornings pool side with our coffee and reading material and then off to breakfast with our daughter who swam daily before breakfast in the clean comfortable pool. Then we would spend our days on the beach and exploring this quaint community. We have already booked another week, and will probably book both of these owners condos at this property and bring our grown children to enjoy. We will make this an annual trip with this vrbo property. Easy in and out, Check out was simple. Load dishwasher, stip bed, pack your belongings and walk away. Cleaning was taken care of by housekeeping. Thank you Arlene and Howard for a very pleasant stay. We came home to work today relaxed.

A nice property with a few minor issues.

A nice property overall and good location in walking distance to the beach. The pool was nice, too. The condo was clean for the most part, nicely furnished, and in relatively good condition. The shower drains slowly and needs unclogging. All the towels smelled like mildew. The toilet sometimes runs.

Owner's Response: My housekeeper unclogged the drain, and I informed her about the towels. Next time call me, I could have given you the code to get in the closet where clean fresh towels are stored, Sorry Arlene

Never Again!

I never leave a negative review but I need to this time. Before arriving I only received my check in info from VRBO with my unit number key code and wifi access. The owner of the units only sent me info on how to check out and info on the unit while being used. Our second day there we were informed by the owner of the Condo/Unit that we were in the wrong one and needed to hurry back and move into the correct one so she could bring in a cleaning crew to have it cleaned. I suggested that we stay in the one we were in and to see if the new arrivals coming in could just take the one we were in, she was totally against this and gave us our new Unit # and key code to move into the new one. We hurried back and moved everything as quickly as we could into the other unit that we were told to move into and given the new key code to move into to. After moving everything into the new unit and getting everything unloaded and set back up into the unit we we told to move into, we received a knock on the door (the owner of the Condo/Units) that we would have to pack up and moved back into the unit we were first in because she could not get her cleaning crew in to clean the one we were in. Yes I know, hard to believe hugh! We had to repack everything again and move it all back into the original one we were in again with the couple who were waiting to get into their unit standing outside our door watching and laughing while we moved it all back again. I am a business owner and would NEVER TELL ANY OF MY CUSTOMERS THAT THEY WERE WRONG AND THAT IT WAS OUR MISTAKE AND WE SHOULD HAVE CALLED HER FIRST BEFORE GOING INTO OUr UNIT. Okay first off I thought we were in the right place because it was the info I was given, second I would have never even called to say that we were in the wrong place to begin with (since this was our first time at this location) the only people that needed to be taken care of was the couple that were returning and she should have just gone to them apologized for Her mistake and offered them something in return and put them in the empty unit! Its not rocket science to have fixed this situation with out blaming us that we were in the wrong one, an error was made it clearly wasn't mine since I was given the information to enter the one we were in, otherwise how would we have gotten into it. I could keep going on about other issues that this unit had but there is not enough room on here to finish everything I would have to say that was wrong!

Owner's Response: Just spoke with rep from VRBO and they cannot figure out how this happened either. You rented A2 from the get-go as all invoices and info read. How you got a code to A1 is beyond any of our understanding. They did not send it, neither did I. And you could not supply the email with the (supposedly wrong) door code on it. I would be more than happy to email you all correspondence showing you rented, and should have taken possession of A2. I have NEVER gotten less than a four star review, mostly 5's. and this unfair review has me pretty upset. I will just ignore the comment 'other numerous things' that are wrong.

This condominium was a great value for a quick weekend getaway.

The location was close enough to Seaside to enjoy it's energy and amenities, but far enough removed to avoid the crowds and expense. This area is really going upscale.

This condo is a very short walk to the sugar white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. 1 block south and one block, either east or west, will bring you to the dune 'walkovers' and down to the beach. We are located on the 'quiet' side of Seagrove Beach, less traffic, etc, but plenty of restaurants, both upscale and casual just a short walk from our small, quiet complex.
