Cozy And Quaint, Romantic One-bedroom Farm Cottage.
About Scott Rogers
We are are recently empty-nested and decided to do something different with our lives, and wanted to have our horses at home, thus we purchased Blossom Valley Farm.
Scott Rogers purchased this Cabin in 2011
Why Scott Rogers chose Port Townsend
The first time we drove through the trees and saw the valley and the property, we knew we would live here. The valley is resplendent with wildlife, wetlands, and grasslands, surrounded by forest. We are close to our favorite town on the Olympic Peninsula, the beautiful Puget Sound, and Olympic Mountains, yet still just a short distance to Seattle.
What makes this Cabin unique
Every moment of every day there is a different view and all of them beautiful, rain or shine. We are moments from mountains or Sound. Activities abound; hiking, biking, skiing, snow shoeing, horse back riding, kayaking, fishing, hunting, golf.
No smoking on the property

The cabin on Scott and Bonnie Rogers' horse farm just outside Port Townsend is a very sweet spot indeed. My wife and I stayed there for a week, felt very much at home, and didn't want to leave when our time was up. We give the place, and Scott and Bonnie, our highest recommendation, and we will be back.
Perfect setting and location
The two of us enjoyed our stay very much. We were in town for the jazz festival so we spent just the mornings and nighttime at the property. Loved the horses, views, birdwatching and rainbows. Clean comfortable and affordable.
Nice little cottage in a beautiful little valley. Quiet, yet just a few minutes outside Port Townsend, a great place to spend a day. Don’t miss the Rose Theater and Fort Worden.
Lovely spot in the valley!
The hobbit hut is charming and has all the essentials in a peaceful quiet place. Birds and the sound of the gurgling stream at your doorstep will welcome you to the serenity of this spot only minutes from Port Townsend. Charming!
Very cute and quiet!
We enjoyed our stay and thought the little place was perfect for a couple! It is close to the main house but we saw the owner ONCE and that was after I lured the resident Golden Retrievers over for hugs. We highly recommend!
The cottage, affectionately known as the Hobbit Hut, is located on a working farm just across the valley from the Larry Scott Trail and minutes from the Puget Sound. Come and enjoy year round outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, sailing, boating, and horseback riding. Short-term boarding is available for guests who wish to explore the Olympic Peninsula via horseback.
