About the property

5 bedroom 4 bathroom single story house, spacious reception rooms, large garden

An elegant single-story house set within the walled garden of a 2000 acre sporting Estate. The house comfortably sleeps 9 adults and is both disabled, child and dog friendly.

There are 5 bedrooms, 4 of which have en suite bath or shower room. 3 of the en suite bedrooms have zip and link beds so can either be arranged as a large bed or as twins. The bedrooms are spacious and bright and overlook the gardens.

The sitting room has a large open fire, TV and games/card table. This room leads to an airy conservatory which is arranged with a table and chairs and leads directly to the Walled Garden.

There is a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with Aga as well as conventional oven and hob. There is a small dining table for 4 as well as central island with stools. A separate utility room has a large washing machine, drying machine as well as an airer.

The dining room is usually set for 8 but the table can be extended to accommodate 12 guests.

There is also a small childrens playroom with a further small sofa bed.

Outside is a large dining terrace with 10 chairs, fire-pit, BBQ and hot tub (supplement of £50 per weekend and £100 per week, paid locally).

At the front of the house, there is a covered drive through drop-off and ample parking.

The colourful Walled Garden comprises 2 acres of lawns, borders and trees. There is a large garden chess, swing-ball and other garden games.

About The Owner

We live in the Big House year-round with Micky running the Estate and farms. We're busy throughout the winter months with our gamekeepers running a shoot from October through January.

over whelming beautiful. quite every thing you can imagne and more. The hosts were so friendly home

We rented the Garden Cottage for my fathers 90 birthday celebrations. The family flew in from around the the world and none had expected such a beautiful private and home from home free. The weather was stunning did not get dark until 10.45pm with the full moon hanging overhead. It was an opportunity for the family to be together to celebrate and bond. We are still talking about and will for many moons to come.

We are rebooking for 2020 for my nieces wedding. Thank you Micky and Adrienne our gracious hosts.

The Garden House is perfect for golfing parties. With some of the world's top courses within an easy drive including Royal Troon, Prestwick, Trump Tunrberry, Western Gailles, Dundonald Links (sister course to Loch Lomond) as well as many other lesser known courses.

This area is also the heart of Burns country and a great place to learn more about Scotland's National Poet. Glasgow is within 30 minutes drive.
