About Julie Heaton
Our family has lived in the area for 20 years. We are raising our 6 children in this beautiful valley. We love this area and the people that call it home. We both are excited to share our love of the area with you and your family. Wade and Julie Heaton purchased this lodge in 2014

Why Julie Heaton chose Alton
Alton is a peaceful community nestled in a secluded, quiet farming valley just a few miles from the main road. The valley is surrounded by unbelievable scenery and is truly a special place. One guest said it best, "If there were more places like Alton, the world would be a better place!"
What makes this Apartment unique
This apartment is a real log home with some fantastic modern twists. We love the rural town of Alton. The streets are quiet and the people friendly. The little valley is under the pink cliffs that light up with the setting sun.

A pleasant stay
The apartment was very pleasant and had everything we needed. Julie was helpful and accommodating.
Great place, great host!
The apartment was in great condition and was very convenient. Julie was super helpful and saved me from my own incompetence when I accidentally booked the wrong dates.
Great quiet area. Beautiful log home.
Beautiful and clean
Our host was very accommodating to our needs. We experienced our shower wasn't hot enough and right away someone was sent to investigate. Also, Julie was kind enough to reimburse us 1 night stay for the inconvenience.
It was a very pleasant stay.
The apartment was very inviting, comfortable, & provided all our needs. It was very peaceful & restful after a long day of hiking. We’ll come back if we are ever in this area again. Thanks for a pleasant stay. 😍 Philip & Jamie Dufrene
Perfect Stay For Couples
After hours of careful research, my wife and I chose to stay at the Alton Lodge apartments. Now, as we are checking out, we feel lucky that we found this spot! The place is ideally situated between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. The log cabin construction and decor provided a very comfortable and cozy environment to re-charge after long hikes. It also has all of the amenities that you need to make your vacation a pleasant one. The air conditioning was a huge bonus for helping us sleep well at night. We also noticed how fresh the apartment smells. Oftentimes cabin rentals have a musty odor, but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the door. My wife is one of the toughest critics of lodging conditions when we travel, and she absolutely loved this place! We highly recommend Alton Lodge for any couple who wants to experience the beauty of southern Utah!!
