My wife and I stayed at the Little Library for the whole month of October, 2015. It was the perfect location and space for us to explore Dublin and Ireland. The apartment is exactly as pictured on the website, clean and comfortable with a basic, yet fully workable kitchen. We cooked many meals in with food from the many local stores.
The location cannot be beat--everything is within walking distance. You are within a five-ten minute walk to the main bus station, the regional train station (DART), the local trams (LUAS) and the intercity train stations. You do not need a car as public transportation in Ireland is frequent, reliable and reasonably priced. We traveled to Galway, Killkenny, Trim, Killarney and Belfast on trains and buses with no problems at all. Many theaters, pubs, stores, and more pubs are at your finger-tips.
My wife and I are in our mid-sixties but felt very safe. The apartment neighborhood is clean and lit. It takes two pass-codes and two keys to get into the apartment from the street. Liam was a wonderful host- met us right on time and showed us how to use the features of the unit. He was always a phone call away to provide assistance. I can highly recommend this property and the owner.
We loved our stay at The Little Library! Dealing with Liam was a joy. He answered all our inquiries in a timely manner. The apartment was centrally located, clean, well equipped, modern, quiet and very comfortable! We highly recommend this apartment!
The apartment was clean and comfortable, its location is perfect, just two steps from the bus station and the most important attractions, the apartment face an internal big courtyard very quiet, facilities like the hi speed internet connection and the cable tv made our stay very pleasant.
I had never used Homeaway from home site until out honeymoon. My friends always use it in the states and other countries and I wanted to try it out for the first time when me and my wife went on our Honeymoon to Ireland. We stayed 5 nights in this apartment and let me tell you it was very conveniently located and walking distance to pretty much everything. Liam was awesome in answering all our questions prior to arrival as it was our first time to Ireland. They were on time and met us exactly where they told us to meet them to recieve the keys. Its a gated community and we enjoyed every bit of Dublin, Galway, and Connermara while we were there before heading off to Madrid and Valencia. If I had to suggest anything a hair dryer would be nice as we had to go out to purchase one and they werent cheap. But other then that it was great: tv worked, wifi was great, and having a washer and dryer was definetly a plus. I would book this apartment again anytime and highly suggest it!!!

My husband and I stayed in the first floor apartment for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time in Dublin. The apartment met our needs and is in a great location! You really are only a block away from everything you need and just a short walk from the Temple bar area. There are only a few recommendations to make the apartment extras a bit more traveler friendly, it would have been nice to have more fresh towels and possibly not beach towels, have a hair-dryer available for use and maybe a shelf in the bathroom. Other than that the apartment was simple and perfect for a stay close to downtown.
Everything mentioned below is walking distance from the apartment. Walking time is in brackets. See the old library and the book of Kells; Dublin Castle (10 mins) - Old walls of Dublin, state apartments, and the treasury. Temple bar (8 mins) - Dublin's cultural quarter. Best night spots, restaurants and unusual shops line these narrow, cobbled streets. Guinness hop store (35 mins) - In the Guinness factory complex this excellent visitor center tells the dramatic story of the 250 year history of Guinness. Shopping in Henry St (3 mins) and Grafton St (15 mins) department stores; pedestrian ambiance. Pro Cathedral (2 mins) - historic church.
