Perfect accommodations

  • 5 of 5

Loved this woodland sanctuary. It provided the perfect accommodations for our family. We spent a lot of time on the deck and saw deer, tons of red squirrels and enjoyed the solitude and beauty of the adirondacks. The house was spacious with plenty of bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms for the 9 of us. Close to numerous hiking trails, White Face Mountain and Lake Placid. Will definitely stay their again.

mountain living

We wish we could have stayed longer - only gripe was the fearless little mouse who kept running through the kitchen - that was more of an issue for some guests than others but a grand time was had by all!

Unique location that was truly breathtaking. The house was fantastic and had an Adirondack charm.

  • 5 of 5

The house was wonderful for old and young alike. My elderly parents loved the view from the deck while my kids loved playing in the stream down below. We found some unique places to visit from tubing down Ausable Chasm to visiting a local wildlife preserve. Just being at the house allows you to feel fully relaxed and ready to enjoy. Eating a meal in the beautiful dining room was great for the family to connect. We played cards by the fire and shared stories about the adventures from the day.

Total Family Gathering

  • 5 of 5

The home was large enough for us to have comfortable dinners together and enough space to get some alone time. The kitchen had enough equipment to prepare meals and all the dishes and glasses to serve.

Porch was a favorite place to sit and relax while looking at a mountain in the background and the close by brook allowed the grandkids to explore and have fun hopping on the rocks.

The home is very private and nicely decorated and a short drive to hiking.and all the other activities in the area.
