Perfect respite from NYC!

  • 5 of 5

Clean, comfortable, and the perfect respite from NYC....thank you! We didn't use the hot tub but would love to come in chillier months to make use of it. We had everything we needed to cook and grill and enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying the birds and wildlife. We hiked during the day and were happy to have a great place to come back to with our tired, but happy, feet. We didn't want to leave and hope to come back sooner rather than later!

Perfect place for a quiet respite to unplug and unwind

  • 5 of 5

My fiance and I could not have been happier with our stay in this very cozy (as advertised!) cabin. We spent several days snowed in (not actually - the driveway was plowed out from the Nor'easter in a very timely manner! But we didn't mind the excuse to stay indoors) and savored every moment of snuggling in front of the fire, listening to the peaceful sound of falling snow, soaking in the hot tub in the dark of night, and the beautiful view of the winding creek down the steep, pine-laden hill. We were glad to be temporarily severed from our constant connection to the Internet (no phone service or wifi) and found it to be a refreshing, and much needed, break. We will absolutely be back and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to take a break from the rat race and reconnect with nature and each other.

Peace and quiet!

  • 5 of 5

I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day at the property, and I was super glad that I chose this one. Sitting in the hot tub while the snow came down was a wonderful experience, and cozying up in the cabin afterward was just what I needed. Loved the proximity to the cross-country ski area and shops, but at the same time so secluded and quiet.

Great getaway in the woods that's not too far from civilization

  • 5 of 5

I booked the cozy cabin for a weekend away with my girlfriend for her birthday and it was just what I was looking for! The cabin was fairly easy to find and upon arrival we found it to be very clean and inviting. The first thing we did was took advantage of the hot tub which was immaculate and very relaxing. Unfortunately the sky was overcast so there were no stars to see but if the sky were clear the view from the tub would have been great. We live close to a major highway so the near silent surroundings were perfect. I was also looking for something very private and even though there is a house that you can (barely) see through the woods and down the hill it offers a ton of privacy. The cabin had everything we needed to cook dinner and lunch every day. We ended up taking a drive into Littleton Saturday morning for breakfast and exploring. It's not too far and there are a lot of cool shops in their downtown. At night we built a fire in the wood stove which was easy to do with great instructions and best of all the wood was included! This is a great place to get away from it all, disconnect, and relax. The only thing that I can say that we had a problem with was the grill. I bought some steaks to have for dinner and, although I was able to work with it, the grill was in somewhat of a dis repaired state. Other than that everything else was great!
