Situated in a cul-de-sac in the upmarket urbanization of El Rosario, our villa has beautiful surroundings, stunning sea and mountain views, tropical gardens, and a large private pool. The house has a modern interior, combined with the exterior of a finca. Within walking distance, there is a tennis/paddle club, many restaurants, a good sized supermarket, coffee shops etc. Only 5 min drive away you will find 4 golf courses and Marbella town itself. Malaga Airport is a half an hour drive away.
The villa is on a small incline over two floors. Entrance floor you have 2 double bedrooms, kitchen, living dining area, a lounge room, and two bathrooms. There is also a wood burning fireplace. Outside there is a huge balcony with great sea views, and an open dining area. On the garden level, there is a large covered patio with a dining area and a coal fired BBQ. There is a self contained double bedroom (accessible through own door at garden level only) with it´s own bathroom. Off this bedroom is another decked terrace, a sitting area and of course the garden and the pool.
The area: The urbanization is very residential, upmarket and quiet. As it lies on an elevation, there are wonderful views. The beach is not far away and could be walked to in about 20 minutes or 5 minutes by car. The beach is recognized to be the best beach in Marbella. There is a famous tennis club, four restaurants, a bar, two coffee shops, a supermarket and a car rental...this all within the urbanisation! If you walk across the bridge towards the beach, you come to another trendy bar/restaurant, and of course the beach is littered with lovely Chirringuitos serving anything from salad to the best grilled seafood. For night life, Niki beach is close, as well as Bono's beach. Of course Marbella town and Puerto Banus are close as well...depends what kind of holiday you are looking to have.
Pool and Garden: The pool is absolutely private and is 5 x 8m. There is a large coal BBQ for larger parties. The patio is furnished with a table with seating for 8 persons. Our garden, 1 floor below contains another patio with 6 chairs. There is a lovely tropical garden with lots of palm trees.
Towels and linen are included in the property.
Why do we love this place?: We love it because we are in town within a short five minute drive. Shopping can be done at the supermarket in the urbanisation (which has everything). But if you want to drive to the mall (with 400 shops), then that is also only a few minutes away by car. Of course the beach is one of the best benefits. In lots of places in Marbella you have pebbles or even a rocky beach. Not here. This is the best stretch of sandy beach, probably why Antonio Banderas bought his house here on the beach!
