This newly renovated (2012) condo is in the perfect location. Minutes walk from the waterfront boardwalk, markets, downtown shopping, all the bars and restaurants, hospitals, universities, Grocery store, Liquor store, Library, Scotiabank Centre Arena etc...

The condo has all the amenities to make your stay relaxing and easy.

We are a 7 day minimum rental; although we will possibly accommodate less if situation arises.

Note: If you are only in need of the one bedroom, we do rent this at $999/week CDN dollars. We lock one bedroom in the case of a one bedroom rental. The two bedroom rental rate is $1299 a week CDN (also the default quote when booking). The off-season rate (Jan-April) is $899 CDN for the unit.

About Mike Hasiuk

Hey there,

We ( Mike and Laura ) are excited to embark on our new adventure with VRBO. In addition to getting married and starting a family, we took the plunge and purchased a condo in 2012. We have invested a lot in updates and renovations and are pleased to rent our property in one of the best locations in the heart of Halifax.

We have had a very successful first couple years and are looking forward to more to come.

We will be renting as a two bedroom and a one bedroom. (One bedroom will be locked if you rent it as a one bedroom)

We want your stay to be enjoyable, relaxing and stress free and we are open to any feedback.

This 1200 sq ft condo is newly renovated with all new appliances and extremely clean. Great size balcony and very spacious. Conveniently located near stores, restaurants, hospitals and universities. Included in the rental is underground parking for one.

Very quiet during the day and night, yet if you want action or noise, you are only minutes from finding some downtown. We are a 7 day minimum rental; although we will possibly accommodate less if situation arises

Great condo, great location!

We had a wonderful week staying here -- the condo has a great location walking distance from many of the major attractions of Halifax, but is in a quiet building on a quiet street. Easy access to restaurants, groceries, museums *and* a calm and quiet oasis of escape. The condo is spotless, very nicely and comfortably furnished, with everything you could need for your stay. Mike is great about communicating all the important information you need. If/when we return to Halifax, we'll be staying here again!

Wonderful place to stay on the edge of downtown Halifax

The apartment was spotless, upscale, well appointed, well equipped and comfortable. Mike is a great landlord and very attentive, and the neighbors and building management are very friendly. Even the underground parking lot (which is great to have in parking-cramped downtown) was clean and neat. Right downtown is within walking distance, but just far enough that the apartment neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Great place to stay.

Calm spot to recharge in the City

This was my first stay with VRBO, and this is my first review of any lodging. I travel internationally a lot, and stay in a lot of places. I was recently in Halifax for a week long conference, and a colleague and I decided to try a rental, a little distance from the venue. After driving 14 hours to get there, the condo was easy to find, and checkin instructions were simple and easy. It is located on a quite street, but just a short walk (or bus) into the center of the city. It was well appointed, with many nice touches. Mike, the owner, has every detail covered, from the parking space inside the complex, to some bottles of wine awaiting our arrival. He was so organized, that I was a little nervous, as I had not done this before....but he left a nice note saying "not to worry" about minor wear and tear.....and this put my mind at ease.

All in all it was a fantastic place to decompress from the conference, and it was a stress free transaction. On top of that, Halifax is a nice "little" city, and we had great weather in late October. Highly recommended
