About Owner / Property Manager

We have visited Cape May for the last 12 years with our 2 boys. We started out at the camp grounds, then rented a house and most recently stayed in hotels on Beach Avenue. Each year we talked about how wonderful it would be to have a little piece of Cape May to call our own. This is a second home for us, not an investment property. We enjoy Cape May and love what every season brings. We have decided to make our home available to others so that you too, can enjoy all that Cape May has to offer.

Owner / Property Manager purchased this house in 2012

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Cape May

This house is tastefully decorated with all of the comforts of home. There are an abundance of windows making this a bright and sunny home. Our 3 season Solarium allows you to enjoy the outdoors with complete privacy (compliments of the surrounding bamboo). Enjoy your morning coffee/tea while you enjoy a book/newspaper in a wicker rocking chair. There is no better way to start your day.

What makes this house unique

We have beach tags available for our guests to use. The shed is available for our guests to store bikes, beach gear and/or surf boards.

Various paper products are available for your convenience (toilet paper, tissues & paper towels).

The Kitchen is stocked with various panry items (spices, condiments, saran wrap, foil, baggies etc.) - we just ask that items depleted are replaced.

A fitness center and Health/Beauty Spa are within a block.

Very comfortable, well-maintained home with beautiful landscaping. Perfect vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four loved staying at Hurley House, and appreciated everything the owners did to make us feel welcome. Plus, the home is situated in a perfect location- close to the beach, dining, etc. We had a great time exploring Cape May and can't wait to return to Hurley House again!

Perfect summer cottage

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time to Cape May and we will be back. While there are many great things to do, eat and see in Cape May, having a modern and clean house to come back to each day made a big difference. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt at home in this very comfortable and convenient home. There is plenty of space for 6 people and the house is updated with all necessary appliances to easily cook both inside and out. The household items are well organized and the location is perfect. Walking distance to any restaurants, shops and stores, but still quiet enough in the evening. The property owners were very helpful in suggesting places to visit as well as insuring everything was to our liking. I highly recommend staying at the Hurley House and we hope to be back soon!

A little slice of heaven!!

  • 5 of 5

Staying at the Hurley House was one of the best vacations in Cape May our family has ever had! From the moment we walked in the door, we fell in love! The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. So warm and inviting.

Everything we could of asked for was there.....even our beach badges!! So thoughtful.....

We love this area of West Cape May. It's a short walk to everything....restaurants, charming shops and the beach.

The only downside was that we weren't there long enough!

We're already looking forward to next summer and our stay at this gem of a house!

The Hurley House is fantastic! It's not your typical shore rental; it's a beautiful seaside home!

The house is a home away from home! It is furnished beautifully, well stocked with everything you need and filled with Cape May charm. I have rented this home a couple of times and already booked for 2018.

Our Week at Hurley House

  • 5 of 5

My family spent a wonderful week at the Hurley House. The house was beautiful and in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We were in walking distance to the Promenade excellent restaurants Ugly Mug and Delaney's. I would also recommend Panico's, the food was fantastic. I would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to return again. The house was centrally located to all Cape May had to offer.

Beautiful house in great location!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week at the Hurley House (July 2017). Beautiful, clean house with all of the amenities our small family needed. We walked to the beach, promenade and restaurants every day (a little bit of a walk but we enjoyed it - with bikes it would have been a complete breeze, maybe when our kids are a little older!). We highly recommend the house - the kitchen was great, there were games and books for the kids, the AC worked great, and the owners provided little things like hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and some kitchen staples which were really appreciated. Our only comment would be the lack of channels on the TV (we only used the master bedroom TV). It seemed like there was no cable? That might be something future guests would want to know. In any case, a minor thing that did not detract from the amazing week we had in Cape May - we hope to return again!

Owner's Response: We appreciate the wonderful review and the feedback about the cable. We apologize for the lack of TV channels. It was not our intention to have the basic cable package available for our summer guests. We are contacting our cable provider this evening so that can be corrected.
