Brand new construction purchased in May of 2017!
Look no further, if you are looking to surf, swim, eat, drink, and enjoy a San Diego beachfront experience that will keep you coming back year over year, at a price that won't break the bank.
Our house is located directly across from the historic Imperial Beach Pier (less than 100 feet to a sandy beach that goes on for miles, with multiple surf breaks), one of only three public piers in all of San Diego county. Its three stories tall, and has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a 2 car garage.
The garage is on the ground level (obviously), and is stocked with all sorts of awesome beach toys so you don't have to bring your own, including wavestorm surfboards, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a cooler so you can go relax on the beach and not have to worry about transporting your own toys, just enjoying your vacation, yet still have space to park your car in a secure garage less than 50 feet from the pier.
This house is all about location. Not only is it in a perfect spot to walk to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and get some drinks at Coronado Brewing's newest restaurant and microbrew, but 10 minutes by car (15-20 min by bike) to the famous Hotel Del Coronado, and less than 20 miles from, the San Diego Airport, Seaport Village, Little Italy, the Gaslamp, Petco Park, the San Diego Convention Center (home of ComicCon), and the shortest walk I have ever seen to Imperial Beach's best surfbreak (youtube Imperial Beach Surfing, all of the videos are shot less than 100 feet from the house). On Friday afternoons you simply have to walk out the front door and you are at the Imperial Beach Farmers Market, featuring the highlights of San Diego's culinary delights.
We've tried super hard to not only pick the best location but furnish the house in a manner that suits it's awesome location, with hybrid memory foam mattresses, upgraded GE Monogram appliances in the kitchen, new LG 4K HD LCD TV's in the (65") living room, (55") master bedroom, (55") bedroom 1, (55") bedroom 2, a custom couch in the living room, a BBQ on the patio, 150Mb/s internet, high end toiletries, non-scarring toilet paper ;), and even keyless entry to the house, so you don't have to worry about losing the key in the sand, when you are taking your afternoon nap in the sun.
The house is also as kid friendly as possible, with two adult rooms with a King and Queen, and in the third room, double sized bunk beds, allowing 5 kids to sleep in one room, perfect if you want to bring two families together for a great beachfront vacation. On the north side of the pier there is a small playground that is visible from throughout the house. The bunk beds will support adults as well (top bunk 300 pound limit), so if you have a bunch of buddies looking for a surf weekend, we can make sure you have a great time too. Additional queen sized air mattresses are available in the garage to provide even additional sleeping if you have a large party, space to set them up is limited.
Master Bedroom - King - Sleeps 2
Bedroom 1 - Two Doubles and a Twin - Sleeps 5 (4 Adults and 1 Child)
Bedroom 2 - Queen - Sleeps 2
Living Room - Queen Sofa Pull Out - Sleeps 2
Foyer - Full Sofa Futon - Sleeps 1
There are also two inflatable queen mattresses in the garage

Great place and atmosphere!
I had the pleasure of celebrating my 30th birthday at this beachfront home with my girlfriends. The place is beautiful!! The place is modern and well-kept. We had seven people here and everyone had a place to sleep comfortably. I liked that they provided towels and beach towels and the BEDS!!! They were so comfy!! The breeze was nice when we had the patio glass door open all the way one night. The neighborhood is peaceful and very family-friendly. I loved how the location is near the beach and how there were little stores nearby. We even had a nice lunch next door. The garage is a little tight for the van we rented, but we made it worked. It looks like you can fit two compact cars though. I did wish there were blinds, but when we rented the place there weren’t any neighbors across from us so it wasn’t so bad. I also didn’t mind the three-level flight of stairs, but it was a workout for me. Overall, the place was great! I would definitely like to come back again. The place and the neighborhood had a good vibe about it!
Had a very nice time, beautiful house.
Location! Location! Location!
We had mixed reviews when telling people we were staying in IB. However, we were so pleased when we arrived. What a cool city!! Not very many people and the city and beach were clean and felt safe. The location is just perfect if you like to walk across the street and be at the beach with great places to eat and everything you need to stay entertained and relax for a week with the family. The home was perfect for our needs - not fancy, but worked out great for our family of five. Owner was quick to reply via email and we had no issues during our stay. Garage could actually fit 2 small cars, but we had a Yukon XL so we had to be creative in our parking angle. Eventually we did make it fit, but we ended up just parking right outside the front door as it was more convenient. Only suggestion we’d have would be privacy. There are no blinds where blinds should be...like the bathroom (yikes!) and main living area. Felt strange looking out windows and seeing neighbors looking back at you. Blinds are cheap and would be a good investment. Also, the carpets need to be replaced or at least cleaned. Overall, great place and perfect location. We would definitely consider booking here again in the future. Cheers!
Imperial beach weekend
This location is golden. Right in front of the pier with breweries and bars all in walking distance. I visit San Diego very often and I think I’ve found my new go-to place to stay. The neighborhood was lovely and lively. Safe neighborhood for a girls getaway and families. The owner was incredibly helpful and made our stay easy peasy. Highly recommended.
We will be making this an annual tradition!!
Incredibly responsive host. Jon was amazing. Plenty of sleeping space, and an amazing kitchen. Parking is a little tight but very nice to have. Beach is perfect for beginner surfers. There are surf boards, and body boards to use in the garage. We used them everyday! The beach has a really cool dock with a little lunch spot at the end.
Speaking of lunch spots, this place is full of them. Walking distance to Pizza, brewery, ice-cream, or seafood. Grab some groceries on your way in, and park the car for the rest of your stay! My only regret was not staying a full week. #nexttime
The home was beautiful. Very well stocked and everything organized. Great location. Downside lots of noise from construction. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
The center of downtown Imperial Beach, steps to the pier, restaraunts, hotels, surf shops, and Coronado Brewing.
