About Mary Harrison
Owners live just 1 hour from the property. They are lawyers, one of whom has a small law firm and the other works as a Vice President in a local foundation.
Why Mary Harrison chose Ponds of Plymouth
The Onset and upper Cape area is home to our grandparents and a huge family. We have a lifetime of great memories of summers on the Cape. So we bought this home to ensure the traditions continue into the future generations. We and our family living an hour away have the joy of an updated, fully equipped home away from home for day trips to weeks-long vacations.
What makes this Cottage unique
Swimming, fishing, Ice Fishing in season, canoeing; a short distance to the Cape Cod Canal for biking, roller blading or walking; so many options for eating and exploring and Cape Cod beaches. It's hard to leave the property once you get there. The views on the pond change all day - each more beautiful than the last. Watch amazing reflections of the moon and stars on the water. It's very typical to come with big plans for day trips to the local attractions and never leave the property becuase it entices you completely.

The Perfect get away!
I really can't say enough good things about this property and the owner, Mary. First she was very accommodating. We were only able to make a 4 day reservation, but she did it for us and we were so grateful! The house is charming and well appointed. The pictures do not do it justice. If you are looking for a peaceful get away on a charming little lake where you can canoe and kayak and just relax, this is the place for you. My husband even caught a fish. The only bad thing was we were not there long enough!! Thank you Mary, we will be sure to visit again!
We really loved the house!
The house was adorable on the lake, everything you needed. Stores were only ten minutes away with plenty of restaurants. Loved the sunrises and so peaceful and relaxing
Lovely Vacation Home
My family which included my husband, children and grandchildren had a wonderful week at this rental. Although everyone didn't get to stay for the whole week we had fun times on the lake and enjoyed meals on the deck while they were there. The home was very comfortable and up to date and everything worked well.
The location is great for getting to Sandwich and the Cape with quick access to the bridges. We also like to spend time at Scusset Beach and riding bikes along the canal which is nearby. Most of our time was spent enjoying the lake which is beautiful. The water was warm and the canoe & kayak were a lot of fun.
I would definitely recommend this home. Mary (the owner) was helpful and available throughout the rental process and during out stay.
Beautiful Pond House
My husband, daughter with a friend and myself loved our stay. The house was perfect for us. We had plenty of room, the beds were very comfortable, and the house very clean. The outside deck had the best view of the lake and was very spacious. Sitting on the deck with our morning cups of coffee was pure heaven!
We spent a lot of time in the lake either kayaking, swimming, or canoeing. The lake was great for fishing too and my daughter and her friend caught & released lots of fish!
The house had a great kitchen but we decided to eat out most nights for dinner, and found yummy restaurants very nearby.
We would highly recommend this house to anyone that wants a wonderful get away!
Cozy and comfortable
Loved the house, very clean and had everything which made it very convenient . Would recommend if your looking for a quiet relaxing get away. Thank you again Mary.
Lisa, Thanks for being such a great renter! We are glad that you had all that you needed and enjoyed your stay.

Quiet place on the pond.
We had a lovely stay for 10 days while visiting for a wedding. The cottage is much larger than the front picture indicates & was quite comfortable for the 5 of us. I found the beds to be very comfortable which as a 1st time renter of a private house was a concern. The place was also well equipped with everything you would need for cooking just about anything. Personally, I ate out for seafood every single day! Our boys were in the water, or in the boats, or fishing every minute they could and had a wonderful time. The yard needs some work & I would highly recommend a walkway to the front door so your feet aren't all wet in the morning or evenings from the dew. There is a camper next door and a privacy fence would be a good idea but it was a nice spot & we had a great time. I am quite picky & I would come back again. Thank you very much Mary, we loved your place!
