Located in the historic Marigny Triangle, Le Château de Pauger is within easy walking distance of both the French Quarter and the world famous Jazz venues on Frenchman Street. Many of the city’s most iconic restaurants, boutiques, nightlife, and historic landmarks are reachable by foot. Whether you are traveling with or without a car, you will find Le Château de Pauger to be ideally situated for exploring the best of what New Orleans has to offer. Those with a car will appreciate convenient off street parking provided by a private St. Joe brick driveway.
Ideal for up to 8 guests, this two story house consists of 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The downstairs master suite boasts a luxurious king-sized bed, flat screen TV, and en suite bathroom featuring a beautifully tiled shower and separate jetted tub. Both upstairs bedrooms are outfitted with queen-sized beds and flat screen TVs. All beds are equipped with top of the line Serta mattresses. Guests staying in the two upstairs bedrooms have a full bath complete with tiled shower/tub combination. The living room in the front of the house can be used as a 4th bedroom, as it has an extremely comfortable sleeper sofa, and is down the hall from the half bathroom. The house comes fully stocked with bed linens and towels.
Gorgeous Thomasville cabinets, granite counters, and a beautifully lit bar welcome you to the kitchen. The gourmet kitchen is fully furnished with a table for six, bar seating, stainless steel appliances and all the accouterments needed to whip up a Cajun masterpiece. You will find ample dishes, pots and pans, glassware, and all the utensils you could desire, whether you’re serving cocktail appetizers, entertaining with a backyard BBQ, or simply enjoying a quiet breakfast at the house before venturing out to explore New Orleans.
During your stay at this beautiful Victorian chateau, you will benefit from having all the modern amenities. This house is technologically advanced, with 5 flat screen TVs, high speed internet, and internet radio which can be enjoyed through a state of the art two-zone Onkyo sound system. Well-lit grounds, a 10 foot privacy fence, and a top of the line ADT security system provide peace of mind and the freedom to relax in private.
At Le Château de Pauger, guests can retreat to a private backyard oasis to refresh and rejuvenate after a day in the French Quarter. A full BBQ, patio dining set, and large deck provide the perfect space for gathering. In addition, guests can make use of the outdoor sound system with JBL speakers while relaxing in this breathtaking backyard.

Please see our 2 New French Quarter Penthouses at Iberville Gardens, 3 blocks from Bourbon and 1 block from the House of Blues. Both have just been added to our Platinum Properties and have very open calendars. Each Penthouse has two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, sleeps 6 to 8 and you will experience the same phenomenal attention to detail and service we have provided to our past guests at Le Château. Stereo and Television System -
One of us will most likely meet you and your group at the property to greet and shake hands. If not, we will arrive shortly after you all have settled in so that we may give you a quick tutorial of how to use the sound system / television / internet radio, etc. The two zone sound system sound system is controlled by an Onkyo receiver which can be remotely controlled from your smartphone by downloading the Onkyo Remote app. (Compatible with Iphone, Android, and Windows smart-phones.) The digital system in place has so many features that even we have yet to learn all of them. Rest assured of the following - it is absolutely incredible!
Groceries and Stocked Items -
We have a variety of amenities that will await you and your party. There are several coffee makers (varied in design and function), complimentary snacks, local brewed beverages and much more.
Utility Room & use of Washer and Dryer -
The home has a utility room that includes a washer and dryer as well as other miscellaneous cleaning supplies. Please feel free to wash and dry your clothing during your stay. Laundry detergent, softener, iron/ironing board, and more - all available to you.
This house is amazing and the owner really makes sure that your stay is memorable. It is in a wonderful location for those interested in exploring the rich musical scene on Frenchman Street and the French Quarter without ever having to use a car. It is also right next to the trolley line for easy connections to other parts of the city. Inside, the owners have created a very well-appointed place that you will want to spend time in when not exploring New Orleans. The back yard and deck is so relaxing in the morning after a night on the town and the off-street parking was perfect for our friends with a car. Overall, we could not have had a better time or a better place to stay while in this incredible city. Cheers to owners Alex and Tony and we can't wait to return!
Myself and 8 girls stayed in the house for 3 nights to celebrate my Bachelorette Party. Alex was great about contacting us with directions and information on how to get into the house. Even checked in to make sure we were going to be arriving on time.
The house was super clean and had everything you need for a weekend, including trash bags and things like that. Alex left a fridge with local Abita Beers and a sweet snack.
The house was a short walk to Frenchmen's Street. You could walk to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, or a short Uber drive.
I highly recommend this cute, convenient, and safe house. I will definelty be back!
The house is wonderful and comfortable and in a great location near the French Quarter. We had an issue with a faulty circuit breaker and the owner responded promptly and had it repaired. Highly recommend.
Our stay in New Orleans was perfect because of this lovely home. My family, who live in all parts of the continent, decided to have a gathering in New Orleans. It was a sublime pleasure to be all together under one roof. Our home is a short walk to Bourbon St. We were able to travel quickly to our destinations; from live music to gardens to museums. All eight of us slept comfortably in this beautifully designed and maintained home. Our host, Alex, was immediately accessible for questions and welcomed us with great hospitality. I am grateful for the opportunity to sit around a table with far flung family members and share stories late into the night. I highly recommend this house and its owner.
This was my 8th time to NOLA and my forth VBRO house rental- and this place blew all the others out of the water! The house was impeccably clean and decorated with that NOLA flair one hopes to expect. Alex what absolutely accommodating from day one. He never kept me waiting on a response was very clear on how everything worked and even let us arrive early and stay late with no extra fees. Even went out of his way to set up a pumpkin, beads (who doesn't want that when visiting NOLA?!) beer- much needed, cookies you name it! He even asked if we wanted to BBQ & brought us a new tank of propane. Centrally located to exactly where we wanted to be. Frenchmen St just blocks away and about a 10 minute walk to Bourbon. There's an awesome daiquiri place around the corner that will knock your socks off and get that party started fo sho! 6 of us came for Halloween and never once felt cramped. Pics do not do this place justice. You can tell how much he prides himself in the craftsmanship when look at the intricate details around the house. You will be impressed with the high ceilings! The backyard was awesome and spacious as well. What s beautiful place, experience and awesome owner. I look forward to renting again- or one other the other places he has.
