About Mike Peters
Our families are native to Arizona. We designed this getaway as a family project, and had it built in 1997, our fathers dream. Three brothers currently own this property.
Mike Peters purchased this Cabin in 1997
Why Mike Peters chose Munds Park
The Flagstaff area is a beautiful place to be in the summertime to escape the Phoenix heat.
What makes this Cabin unique
We enjoy the large porch and the swing during summer afternoon rain storms.
Sports & Adventure Activities
Very Spacious and Comfortable
Was perfect for our group we were in town for a baseball tournament so if gave is plenty of room to hangout and room for the kids to play!!! Would stay here again!!
We enjoyed our stay Very specious for a large group. Very well equipped, great location , nice and clean. Highly recommend it.
Perfect 4-day getaway for our family of 11 with a small dog
Everyone in our family agreed: we will definitely try to come back again! The bedrooms were all large enough to have accomodated a pack-and-play or twin blow up mattress for a child to sleep with their parents. All the beds were very comfortable. The fact that each bedroom has it's own full bath is awesome! The kitchen is roomy enough for several cooks to be moving around without bumping in to each other. One word of advise: bring all your food and drinks with you because there are no grocery stores or restaurants in Munds Park, you would have to go to Flagstaff. This was not a problem for our group since we all love to cook. I appreciated the 2 large electric griddles in the kitchen; very handy for cooking french toast, bacon and sausage for 11 people in the morning! There are 2 dining tables, we fit all 11 of us around one, and used the other (good for 6 - 8 people) for card games and puzzles. It had snowed 2 days before our visit and we were delighted that the roads were all clear; there were areas close to the house (walking or driving distance) for the kids to play in the snow, we even found 2 snow boogie boards in a closet for them! The back yard was perfect for the dog and little ones to run around in.
In short, this trip was a wonderful experience, the owner answered my emails and phone calls quickly, and we will definitely try to come back next year!
GREAT place, lots of room and close to many fun spots!
We had a WONDERFUL time. First time in 6 years family was all together. The 5bdrm/5 1/2 bath house was just perfect. Close to Flagstaff and Sedona for us to really enjoy a lot. Thank you Mike Peter's for working with us and tweaking our dates so all could make it. Would certainly stay again if this area was our destination!
A great cabin in the mountains
Quiet, comfortable, perfect for our getaway
Amazing place to stay for a big family or group
Our family has stayed here three or four times now and it is always a wonderful retreat from the grind. The great room on the main level has two large dining tables for meals and games as well as a living room, fireplace, and kitchen. The main floor also includes a half bath, a laundry room, and a large master bedroom suite with a huge walk-in closet. The upstairs has four large bedrooms with a dedicated bathroom for each. The front porch is large with a grill, swing, and space for chairs. The cabin is located at the top of a quiet cul de sac. For the price and amenities, this cabin cannot be beat.
Area has many uses: Snow bowl ski resort, Meteor Crater, Lowell observatory, historic route 66, Cardinals football training camp, Grand Canyon, Arboretum, Botanical garden, Northern Arizona University, Museums, ATV riding, and Golf
