Welcome to the Winddrift Cabin. Recently restored with today's convience while maintaining its charm! Relax by the babbling brook, fireside or hot tub. Full kitchen, gas fireplace, fresh linens, smart TV, WiFi Speaker, clean new full bath, outside charcoal grill, cooking firepit and picnic table. Comfortable foam mattress on queen bed. At the base of Double MT Trial, so walk right from the cabin to Hike, snowshoe, cross country, etc. 1/2 mile to Black MT, Skiing, horseback/pony rides, Shovel Handle pub, farm stand with honey, maple syrup, and eggs. Hiking and cross country at your front door. Ride thru rolling hills and scenic drives to arrive at this destination while being minutes away from Jackson ctr, story land, several hiking, skiing and cross country destination, adventure parks, shops, award winning restaurants the rest the valley has to offer. Certain peak weekends, holidays, I may request minimum night stays. The cabin has a lower ceiling, especially in the loft and entrance, so if your 6.3 ft tall you will need to watch your head. The water in the summer is from the brook and winter from a dug well - it is not treated and can be exposed so we suggest you bring your own drinking water.

Quaint, rustic, peaceful
We were impressed with the details and thoughtful attention to detail. While rustic, it’s a bit dark inside. We will dtay again but one suggestion for light, and airflow especially wonderful NH breezes would be the addition of a screen door. A nice weekend in a charming village. Two quirky owls in the trees to complete the experience!!
Thanks for your review
A comfortable little cabin
This is a very quaint and functional little cabin. We were very comfortable for our short stay. The hot tub is an excellent touch. Also it's just outside the village of Jackson and almost next door to Black Mountain. I would definitely return here.
thanks for your review
A perfect spot for a getaway. 1 minute yes a real one minute drive to skiing Black Mt.
Really quaint and clean cottage, everything you need for a couple of days to enjoy Jackson, NH.
Cute cabin with a good location!
My boyfriend and I rented this cabin for a night getaway on the weekend of August 19th. It was very cute! The location was nicely hidden away but still close enough to the typical North Conway attractions and beautiful nature, as well as stores for any small things you may need. A few things we felt were important to share in the description before renting: 1. The height of the cabin. My boyfriend was just shy of touching the ceilings with his head (not a big deal but it could matter more for a taller guy). 2. You need to bring your own water/cannot drink from faucets. This was fine for one night but others may not like it for a longer stay. Including these two facts in the description would be helpful for potential renters. We also could not figure out how to set the thermostat, so leaving directions for that would be helpful as well. The cleaner did show up 5 minutes before we were supposed to check out which made us feel a bit rushed. As well as the location given for throwing out the trash at checkout. It was difficult to find so we ended up just taking our trash with us to throw out somewhere else. Other than those few small things, this place was perfect. Very cozy and romantic. We didn't have a chance to use the hot tub but it appeared clean and easy to use. I would recommend this for a couple looking to get away or even a small group of friends. There was a lot of seating that could be turned into beds as well as having the pull out couch/extra cots. Thank you for everything and we look forward to returning :)
Thank you for your review. this is the first summer the cabin has been in use for many years and my first summer renting it, so continuously making improvements. I include the information regarding ceiling heights and water to the description. Also, I supply two bottles of water for your arrival, however, i am looking into other sources.
Its not that the water is bad, it just comes for an open source, either the brook in the summer (so to me the water seems really fresh) or the well, which is just a dug well. I have had it tested, and its fine, but because they are open sources and untreated I thought it best to advise people to bring their own water.
