Beautiful Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed at this cabin for Thanksgiving this year and had a wonderful and relaxing time! The Bishops were fantastic and allowed us to check in early so that we could get started on our Thanksgiving meal. The cabin is beautiful, very clean, and very well equipped. We hope to go back in the summer as there is a gorgeous marina, basketball court, grilling areas and lovely hiking trails to explore. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

Great little cabin for family of 4 or 5. Neat and clean. The kitchen was well supplied. Great place if you want to get away for a quiet weekend.

Serenity Now

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I really, really enjoyed our weekend stay at your cabin. It was my wife's birthday weekend and we both got some much needed rest and relaxation. This is one of the best equipped place I believe we have ever stayed, and we have stayed at a lot of places. The peace and quiet we experienced was such a change from what we are used to in the Metro Atlanta area. I loved reading about the history of Bear Paw and the area around Murphy. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later. Thanks to the Bishop's who seem to have thought of everything and more. Thank You!

Awesome Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We were in Murphy, NC, for our grandson's wedding. This was the perfect place to stay. Everything was provided. The only thing we needed to bring was food. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. TV, WiFi, and phone were provided so we were still connected. The area is quiet and well maintained. I would definitely recommend staying here. We had a great experience.

Wonderful Cottage for a Relaxing Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

I visited this cottage for a mother-daughter getaway weekend. We rented a Pontoon Boat at the marina which is down the road from the cottage and spent hours on the gorgeous Lake Hiwassee, visited the towns of Murphy, NC and Blue Ridge, Ga, and also visited the John C. Campbell Folk School. The community where the cabin is located is a quaint and quiet and perfect for unplugging and relaxing. The pool is large and clean and a great amenity after a long walk up and down the surrounding hills. The cabin was comfortable and cute and had a spacious living room. The owners were so helpful. Carol answered all of our questions and is a delightfully kind person.
