The west coast of Ibiza has some of the most dramatic and spectacular coastal scenery on the Balearic Islands. The villa enjoys an elevated position with sea views and stunning sunsets. On entering the villa you are immediately met with 'a view to die for'. The open plan ground floor has a spacious living area which opens onto a shaded terrace stepping down onto timber decking surrounding the pool. There is a dining area for six and fully equipped kitchen with an American style fridge freezer. The cloak room has a shower, wc, hand wash basin and washing machine. On the first floor the master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite with shower, wc, bidet and basin. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. Both bedrooms open directly onto a large shaded terrace with sea views. There is a family bathroom with bath with shower over, wc and basin. The third bedroom has twin beds. A cot is available on request. Outside there is a dining table and chairs for six, barbecue and six sun loungers.
From 1st contact with the owner he gave us full confidence in our descion to rent this property. He continued to communicate throughout the booking procedure and made our 1st time renting abroad very easy. The property is 1st class and the pictures on the website don't do it justice, the view / sunsets are exceptional.
We generally stopped at the Villa, only popping out for supplies so can't really comment on the local bars / eateries however we got many recommendations that we will try out next time we rent this property.
If your looking to get away and relax, with easy access to the typical Ibiza scene then this will suit most holiday makers.
We will be definitely returning to this stunning villa
As per the previous reviews the pros are as follows:
The setting & sunsets are stunning
The area while requiring a car is walkable to Cala Vadella to nice restaurants etc.
The house manager/caretaker was awesome nothing too much trouble.
The Villa whilst relatively modern felt very basic( apart from high quality electrical-TV/Washing M/C; Dyson Hoover) in terms of furniture (all Ikea and a number of years old).Such as unstable storage drawers in bedrooms.
Basic Beds and bedding.
Having to vacate our bedrooms By 9.30am (but could not fully use the Villa on arrival to after 3pm)
Average showers, shower curtains need replacing.
Outside recliners/sunbeds really Knackered
Hole in one of Parasols
We also had a few incidents such as Iron with live wire exposed( this was dutifully replaced asap by the owner) and a glass bedside light which just shattered as we slept one night!
First night we could not operate the Air. Conditioning ( kitchen recently renovated and fuse box which was in instruction in the utility room had moved and details not updated) so I had to sleep on balcony and got badly bitten by Mosquitos!
However I would still recommend the villa and the area but needs updating.
I love this area of Ibiza and have been visiting yearly for over 10 years.
I have stayed in this villa twice now and the main reason I rebooked and would book again are as follows
The setting is perfect for me - its tranquil but not isolated and very close to a good beach with nice café, restaurant,,,. This villa is set in a picturesque very nice residential area. You have neighbours nearby but not on top of you and you also have privacy and peace. Cala Vadella beach is just perfect with safe swimming and a laid back atmosphere and a good range of food to suit all budgets... you wont be disappointed...The villa really is truly relaxing countryside coastal setting yet you are a short drive to san jose, a lovely little town for newspapers, shops, bank, bars...
The accommodation is an attractive modern uplifting design with lots of light and the most wonderful breeze even on the hottest days. The pool is very clean with good quality loungers and a view of sunset. The bedrooms are very comfortable with quality beds and furnishings. There is a good utility room ...The front terrace is a lovely place to sit for morning coffee. The villa has good security and feels very safe- a feature you should look for in any villa...
The price is also great. you get far more for your money with this if you are looking for high quality modern accommodation in a desirable location with a good nights sleep in a decent bed....
Also most of the villas are owner occupied so you a pretty much guaranteed good neighbours if they are there ( as some use just as a holiday home)
also not this villa is let by the owner himself - another feature I would always look for as having had many years experience of renting villas I find those let by the owner are always better. The owner was a very efficient and decent guy...and pays attention to detail to ensure the villa is perfect when you arrive.
We had a fantastic week holiday at this house and it is great value for money. The views are superb and it feels like you are isolated from everyone else. The house has everything you could possibly need to be able to live and eat comfortably. The only downside for me was that there were no shallow steps into the pool to able to take our 4 month old baby into the water. It wouldn't stop me coming back as the local beach is fantastic and an enjoyable morning walk away.
Our week at this villa was fantastic. The setting is ideal for a family with teenagers, we could walk to the local beach and restaurants, drive to Ibiza Town in 40 minutes and yet be in a calm, quiet and very relaxed setting. The bedrooms were comfortable, the AC very welcome in the heatwave. The terrace was great, sunny all day with a lovely breeze and refreshing pool. The house is modern and clean, very well laid out and a fantastic supply of films for the rare night in. Only suggestion for improvement is to add some Ibizan touches - plants, cushions or colour to give it a bit more character. We would love to return here!
I found the owner to be very helpful and professional, which made the rental process easy and straight forward.
If anything, the photos don't do the house justice as it was even nicer in real life.
The villa is immaculate and really well equipped, everything we needed was provided, you couldn't ask for more. The location is really pretty too, surrounded by nicely designed villas and pine forests. There's a breathtaking view of the sunset directly opposite the pool, and when the sun sets it's very peaceful with clear, starry skies.
The local beach is really clean, and the waters are perfect for swimming and snorkelling. There are a couple of small shops where you can buy groceries, clothes, beach equipment etc., and some small, friendly bars and restaurants.
This villa is extremely good value for money, I'd definitely stay there again, and would certainly recommend it to friends and family.
The villa is ten minutes drive from the pretty town of Sant Josep (San Jose). Here you will find all amenities for daily living including shops, supermarket, bars, restaurants, banks and medical centre. The quiet resort of Cala Vedella is a fifteen minute walk down the hill or a few minutes by car. Cala Vedella boasts one of the finest beaches on Ibiza. Surrounded by pine clad hills the picturesque bay has crystal clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The wide beach of fine white sand and shallow waters is particularly safe for families with children. There is a supermarket and choice of shops, restaurants and bars and water sports activities. To the south the beaches of Cala Carbo and Cala d'Hort take in spectacular views of Es Vedra rock. Ibiza Town is a 30 minute drive and there is a frequent bus service from the beach which runs into the evening during the summer months. The beaches of Cala Moli and Cala Tarida hug the coastline to the north on the way to San Antonio.
