The owner Alberto and the property manager, Jose treated my family and I better than if we had been guest at a five star hotel. They were very accommodating, very helpful in finding local eateries and with any questions and concerns we had. The home was just as described. Our family enjoyed living like the locals (hearing the roosters in the a.m.) while enjoying the comforts of home. The beach a walking distance away added to the excitement of our stay at Crash Boat. If your looking to live like the locals while living in a beautiful newly renovated beach home, this is the place for you!
Spectacular beachfront property great amenities
This property is in the most amazing location. Crashboat beach has crystal clear water, white sand, and the calm water is perfect for children. We did snorkeling, paddle boarding and simply enjoyed the atmosphere of the beach. The property has everything you need including an outside deck with a grill where you can sip some wine while watching the sunset. We were able to enjoy the day at the beach and walk back to the house to grab something to eat.
The house was beautifully decorated with a rustic chic vibe. It was equipped with everything you would need. The property manager, Cheo and his son Derrick, were always available for anything we needed. They gave us suggestions on places to visit, local restaurants and where to rent surfing and scuba gear.
We were able to surf at nearby beaches as Crashboat is centrally located between various famous surfing spots. People were very friendly and helpful everywhere we went.
Our kids had so much fun that they have asked to come back and make it at least a yearly trip.
Just pack your swimsuit!
We loved, loved, loved this property. It is a newly-remodeled paradise! Everything was sparkling clean and worked perfectly. It had sheets, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste... I mean, you just need your clothes. There are countless places for food around, we loved Desecheo and Mona. If you go, you will see that these places have the same vibe as the Casita. We found out they were all decorated by the same person! José was always available to assist us in anything we needed. I had to be able to arrive a little bit earlier because my daughter was taking an online course and needed internet access, I contacted him and he and his team worked very hard to make this possible. The beach is just LITERALLY a few steps away. It is right beside where local fishermen come in and we were able to watch this during our stay. You may even purchase some of their catch and barbecue it! The water was transparent, the area clean and apart from the "Balneario", but close enough that you can also go there if you like.
