Newly, completely renovated studio space boasts all the conveniences of a modern hotel room, but with the character and feel of an historic city row house.

Private, secure access to this clean and cozy apartment is gained thru a well lit English basement entrance on a smart residential street. The well designed floor plan maximizes use of the 375 sq ft with a full sized bed, spacious bathroom, kitchenette, desk, tv and sitting areas, loads of closet storage, drawers, cabinets and shelves plus a stackable washer/dryer within unit. Great for short term stays by one single traveler or a couple traveling together.

The modern bathroom has completely tiled walls and floors and features a custom concrete counter vanity, river rock stone shower stall with operable window for light and ventilation.

Luxury linens, down pillows, plush towels and memory foam mattress bed comfortably sleeps two.

Coffee maker, microwave, toaster, mini fridge & freezer, kitchenette.

Stackable washer / dryer with laundry supplies within unit.

42” lcd tv with cable, cordless phone with local & long distance landline, wireless modem with high speed internet.

Blackout blinds ensure total privacy or when open lots of sunlight from morning and afternoon exposures.

Kitchen stocked with water, coffee & fruit, breakfast items, and more like beer & wine upon request.

Weekly maid service included.

This Studio comprises the front basement unit of a brick rowhouse. Upstairs is an entirely separated rental house unit with tenants that all live, work and play in the city. Feel free to knock on their door, they can help you with suggestions in city or leave you totally private as you will not see or encounter them if you prefer not.

Amazing Location!

Literally just around the corner of some of the best bars and restaurants in the area! EVERYTHING was within a 2 mile radius of this location! Downtown, bars, grocery stores, coffee shops, you name it! Nice and cozy which was perfect for me and my wife to relax after a long day of sight-seeing. All the amenities that one would need on a vacation getaway were included. Highly recommended!

Great location. Quiet side street but close to bars and restaurants. Also near tennis courts and parks. Erik was very helpful and responsive. Pet friendly neighbor. I recommend staying here.

Great studio at a great location

When considering a stay away, three things matter to me: apartment, location, and host. When the stay is extended your interactions with the host become more significant, and since I was at this location for over three months, I should begin with the host: Eric is a terrific guy: responsive, accommodating, and kind. He also knows the area very well, but you need to ask if you need information because Eric is extremely discreet and he’ll stay out of your way, which in my book is a great quality. Let’s move to location: the Adams Morgan is a lively area with lots of good restaurants and bars. 18th St. is bustling, but the apartment is in Champlain, which shelters considerably from noise. 17th and 14Sts are an easy walk away, with some of the greatest restaurants in D.C. The Kalorama neighborhood, is also a couple of minutes away. Finally DuPont Circle is about ten minutes away by foot, although since I rented a bike (https://www.capitalbikeshare.com/) the time was more like thee minute for me. From there, the city is at your disposal. Finally, the studio is very clean and comfortable and well equipped.

2294 Champlain St

This place is a gem.

2294 Champlain Street is an excellent location. It's smack in the middle of Adams Morgan, with easy access to public transportation any kind of cuisine. I stayed for two weeks, yet still found new great food each night. Champlain street is quiet and safe despite being only a 4 minute walk to the center of nightlife in Adams Morgan.

The apartment itself has everything you could need. Having the washer and dryer inside the apartment, makes longer stays very easy. I was very thankful to have them.

On top of that, the owner, Eric, was very helpful, resolving all my questions and concerns.

Will book again!

Looking forward to returning.....

This was an excellent location for a weeklong stay in DC. There were so many places to eat at and explore within a few blocks. The apartment was exactly like we expected from the pictures: very cozy and comfortable. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. Eric was very helpful and attentive to our requests and allowed us a late checkout to accommodate our departure time. We are hoping to return for future visits.
