Good But needs some TLC

The place was nice, in a good spot. Easy to find. Relatively close to a boat ramp/marina. Had a great shoreline for bank fishing. We did catch quite a few during our stay. Loved the fire pit, The back deck and the dock. It is for sale and just seems a little tired and neglected. It took us 15 minutes to figure out how to turn on the lights. There were some sort of energy saver climate change saving bulbs that took 5 minutes to turn on. The pluming drained very very slow including both toilets. If you are a coffee drinker bring your own coffee maker. The one they have only makes one cup at a time. The driveway is extremely steep. If you don’t have four wheel drive i doubt you are getting out in a storm. Would I stay here again…probably. Despite the shortcomings we did have a great time here. The property manager was extremely nice and helpful.

Remote getaway

Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Property location was very nice, spent most of our time there fishing. Good ways out of town with lovely hilly backroads! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner. Only complaint would be the house has not been deep cleaned in quite some time, surface clean was OK however do expect lots of dust and interior cobwebs. Overall we would likely stay again

Great time!

We had a great time staying here. The kids really enjoyed fishing from the dock as well as the adults. It’s a very peaceful place. Would recommend staying here

Quiet private cove

We stayed here for a week with my family and dog. Craig was great at responding to our questions. We brought out 19' bowrider, the water depth at the dock is about 5', plenty deep for out boat. As others mentioned, there's not much in the area around the house, it's actually faster to go to the convenience store by boat than car :D We enjoyed our stay, everything was as described. Thank you!

Family Vacation

Time well spent on our "lakecation" this past week. The kids had loads of fun with countless hours of sunbathing & fishing, the home was well maintained, large enough for our family and pet friendly ( we brought our Frenchie, Onyx. We drove to Milledgeville (about 30 mins from rental) for dinners at local hotspots & used the homes spacious kitchen for lunch & breakfast most days. Very quiet area with plenty of relaxation available.
