Exceeded expectations

We visited Nashville for the graduation of my son and stayed at this location. We were impressed with the hospitality of owner Mr.Emkay and his family. Since owner stays adjacent to the property, he's easily accessible for any help or advice 24/7. The night after the graduation dinner my wife had some stomach discomfort. We ran into Mr.Emkay as he returned from his job at same time. After usual greetings, when he learned about my wife's discomfort, he immediately grabbed some pills from his home and gave it to my wife. Thankfully we could sleep peacefully. Being a professional Pharmacist he's right there for all your health tips and advice.

The location really is as described, fortunately one of the days of our stay it was raining and clouds looked like touching trees on the hill in the back yard. With fresh rain water, the creek in the front was overflowing. Evenings we used to just sit in the backyard and enjoy the serene environs. At the end of the day when we get back to bed, we had all that's needed for comfort. It's so professionally clean and nicely stocked with all the essentials we could imagine.

we would absolutely come back to this property again even though we might be passing through Nashville for any reason

A slight misrepresentation

There were some positives to the property as well as negatives. It is important to note that this is a basement 2 bedroom apartment with no windows. You have to enter through a garage and the smell in the garage is overpowering of spicy food. Once you enter the apartment, the smell is not as pungent. The owner lives upstairs so you can hear people walking. There is a dry creek in front of the house but by no means is this a waterfront property. The backyard is available to you but we chose not use it since you can’t drink alcohol outside the unit and suitable chairs were not provided.

The apartment is spacious and clean. Nicely decorated. The queen bed is very comfortable but squeaks when you move around. The bathroom could use some hooks for hanging towels and vanity table for extra counter space. A tissue box would be nice as we ran out of toilet paper on our last day. There was only 1 extra roll but when you use toilet paper to blow your nose, it runs out quickly. Lastly, more hangers would be useful for longer stays.

Cereal, coffee, milk and orange juice were provided. Nice touch. Don’t expect a free breakfast as you would get at a Holiday Inn Express or Hilton Garden Inn.

We felt there were too many rules for our taste and would probably not book this place again. However, the location is great if you want to explore more than just downtown.

Very clean nice apartment

Our family of 5 stayed here two nights and were quite comfortable. Everything was very clean and neat. The kitchen has everything you need, complete with condiments and a few extras.

Really enjoyed the spacious homey feel! Loved the amenities they provided. Great location for downtown Nashville and Franklin. Very clean and comfortable. Will be staying here in the future!
